I work full time as a teacher, so at the moment I will only do things on the weekends. However, during the summer time I don't work and will be looking to fill my daytime with pet care as well.

I live on the first floor of a condo high rise. I have a sizable porch with a 4.5 ft. fence that's lockable. I live near a very large park that takes 3 mins to walk to and my condo is nestled in a neighborhood of single family homes that is nice to walk through. Since I live on the first floor there are no stairs or elevators to deal with and I have external entry through my porch, so I don't have to deal with walking dogs through a hallway with other dogs passing by. This worked well for my pointer, and my wolfhound lived here with me for a while as well before he passed. There is no weight limit for my condo and I am the owner, not a renter.

Information Caitlyn O. would like to know about your pet
Is your pet crate trained (it's ok if not)? Any important things to know about their socialization? Are they better to walk in a calmer area like a quiet neighborhood or would they be ok being walked at a busier place like a park that is more crowded?
A typical day
Depending on what the dog likes to do, I'm willing to do a lot! With my dogs in the past I have done: hiking, paddle boarding, water retrieval, running, walking, open space off leash time (depending on recall ability), training, retrieval at the park, joining in on errands and going inside when possible (the mall, Home Depot, etc). I had a pointer who was very high energy and a wolfhound who was lower energy so it depends on the dog and what he or she enjoys.

Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs. We had golden retrievers, a blue heeler, Australian Shepherds, a Cocker Spaniel, and an Irish Setter. The first dog I owned for myself was an Irish Wolfhound, and I most recently owned a Wirehaired Pointing Griffon who recently passed away. I love training dogs. I did therapy work with my Irish Wolfhound, trained my pointer to hunt, and have always done basic training with all of my dogs. I have trained my dogs to use crates, but they have also been free roamers in the home during the day while I work. I've walked dogs with gentle leaders, e-collars, and harnesses. I really enjoy rare breeds, but I love them all!
Reviews

Caitlyn was awesome! She is so kind, quick to respond with photos, and provides several daily updates. She did great with my high energy dog and loved the daily walks to get my dog outside. Definitely will reach out again! Denver loved her stay!

My dog was very happy staying with Caitlyn! She provided a daily update with pictures and went on walks with her. I would recommend her to anyone!

Willow had a wonderful stay with Caitlyn! She was great at communicating, sending photos, and being able to handle Willows leash reactivity without any hesitation. Will definitely book again!
