I do live in a townhouse which is about 1600 sq ft, so it's a fairly good size. We have a closed off deck that looks out into the woods behind us. There is also a very large dog park here for running around. The area is quiet and gated with plenty of safe walking areas, including a nice trail nearby.

The more details you can share, the better I can match their routine and personality! Here’s what’s most helpful to know: Daily Routine & Schedule Feeding schedule, exact portions, food brand, and any special instructions (e.g., hand-feeding, slow feeder, allergies) Walk/potty schedule and typical length of walks Preferred potty spots or signals Nap times, bedtime routine, and any crate or free-roam preferences Behavior & Personality How they react to strangers, other dogs, cats, kids, or loud noises Any anxiety triggers (separation anxiety, thunderstorms, fireworks, etc.) and what helps them calm down Favorite toys, games, or comfort items Energy level and exercise needs Any commands they know or training methods you use Health & Medical Current medications, allergies, or special diets Any ongoing health conditions, injuries, or mobility needs Vet information and emergency contacts Vaccination records (especially rabies, DHPP, Bordetella) Recent history of illness or changes in behavior/appetite House & Environment Home layout, doors/gates that must stay closed, alarm codes Favorite resting spots or furniture rules Any plants, cords, or items they should avoid Trash/recycling routines and how to secure them Other Important Details Contact info for you while away and a backup friend/family member Any upcoming appointments (grooming, vet, etc.) Special requests or “do not” instructions
A typical day
Every day with your pet is tailored to their personality, age, energy level, and your specific instructions. Here’s what a typical day often looks like when I’m caring for dogs or cats in your home or at my place: Morning Fresh walk or backyard potty/play session (15–45 minutes depending on the dog) Breakfast (following your exact feeding schedule and portions) Fresh water, quick clean-up, and any morning medications or supplements Cozy cuddle time or gentle play for seniors/cats Midday Main walk or active play session (30–60 minutes) Mental stimulation: puzzle toys, training games, scent work, or lick mats Nap time with calming music or white noise if needed Drop-in visit style check-ins for cats or multiple pets Afternoon/Evening Another walk or yard time Dinner and evening meds Relaxed wind-down: brushing, gentle massage, or quiet play Final potty break and bedtime routine exactly as you do it at home I send photo/video updates 2–4 times per day so you can see how your pet is doing. I’m very flexible and will stick closely to any schedule or special requests you provide.
