Caring for animals is already a big part of my daily routine. I have two dogs and a cat of my own, so my days naturally revolve around feeding, walks, playtime, grooming, and making sure they get plenty of attention and affection. Since I’m not currently working another job, I have a very flexible schedule and am available throughout the day and evening for pet care. I’m also new to the Tampa area, so I have plenty of time to dedicate to your pets. Whether your pet needs a quick drop-in visit, a long walk, or extra companionship while you’re away, I’ll make sure they receive the same level of care, patience, and love that I give my own animals.

I primarily provide care in my clients’ homes, where pets are most comfortable and able to stick to their normal routines. I take the time to learn each pet’s schedule, including feeding, walks, medications, playtime, and any special needs, so they experience as little disruption as possible while you’re away. For house sitting and drop-in visits, I’ll treat both your pet and your home with the utmost care and respect. I’ll keep your home clean and secure, follow any instructions you leave, and send regular photo and video updates so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. While I don’t typically offer boarding in my own home, I may make exceptions for established clients on a case-by-case basis. My priority is always providing a safe, calm, and loving environment where every pet feels comfortable, happy, and well cared for.

A typical day
Every pet has a different idea of the perfect day, so I tailor activities to their personality, energy level, and usual routine. For active dogs, that may include walks, fetch, playtime, and practicing basic commands. More relaxed or senior pets can enjoy shorter strolls, gentle play, plenty of affection, and cozy downtime. For cats, I’m happy to provide interactive play, enrichment, brushing, or simply quiet companionship—whatever makes them feel most comfortable. My goal is to keep every pet happy, engaged, and cared for while making their time away from you feel as normal and enjoyable as possible.

Hi! I’m Caitlyn, and dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. As a third-generation AKC dog handler, I was raised in a family deeply involved in the dog world, learning from experienced handlers, trainers, and groomers from an early age. Caring for dogs isn’t just something I do—it’s something I’ve grown up with. I’ve worked with dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds, and temperaments, from energetic puppies to senior dogs requiring extra patience and care. I’m also experienced with grooming, handling, administering oral medications, and recognizing when something isn’t quite right with a pet’s behavior or health. When caring for your pet, my goal is to keep them happy, comfortable, and on their normal routine while giving you complete peace of mind. I provide plenty of updates and photos so you’ll always know how your furry family member is doing. I treat every pet as if they were my own, and I would love the opportunity to care for yours!

I booked with Caitlyn primarily due to her stellar reviews. The first few visits were fine, but the third morning, there was no check-in (Rover card). I texted Caitlyn mid-morning, but didn’t hear back from her until mid-afternoon, which made me quite nervous. There was also no check-in that same evening or the next morning, but Caitlyn responded by text much quicker about those two visits. Apparently, there were errors with the Rover cards. When I returned home, my dog was fine, but the wrong garage opener had been left on my counter. I’ve requested my garage opener to be returned three times; it has been nearly three weeks and I still do not have my opener. It is my sincere hope that this experience was an anomaly. Caitlyn was quite nice when I met her, and the Rover cards that I did receive were upbeat and informative.
She was on time for dog walks and judging by the way Freyja jumped up to greet her when she arrived, my dog really liked her. Appreciate her helping me out after spraining my ankle.
