My name is Caitlyn and I am an Augusta University graduate with a Bachelors of Arts in World Language (Spanish) & a Bachelors of Science in Biology. I am an aspiring veterinarian who has a real passion for loving and taking care of animals, regardless of the species. I have owned and taken care of my personal dog for 11 years now, but have been sitting and taking care of family, friends, and neighbors pets as needed for the past 15 years. The animals that I have worked with include cats (ages 1-13), dogs (ages 1-12), ferrets (age 5), guinea pigs (ages 1-3), tropical fish, and shrimp. I am willing to take your animal to the park, administer medicine (oral or ear) as well as discuss any other special services that may be required or requested. I have worked with elder dogs and cats, as well as special needs dogs. I know how to work with dogs in wheel chairs, administer appropriate creams, and change any doggy diapers. I have also researched a lot on dog nutrition and shadowed at a veterinary clinic. While I am not certified in dog CPR, I am aware of how to act in an emergency situation and check for a pulse. I look forward to gaining more experience in animal care!
