Caitlyn has been my family’s pet sitter for the last 7 years, so when Caitlyn told us she was starting Rover, I immediately knew I needed to write her a review and shout her praises. She is the kind of pet sitter every pet owner hopes to find and we trust her with our pets (dogs, fish, birds) wholeheartedly. It’s so hard to find someone you trust with both your animals and your home, but Caitlyn has always given us complete peace of mind whenever we travel. We had a senior beagle (Minnie, who has since passed) that Caitlyn took amazing care of whenever we were out of town. She was available to stay at our house so we didn't have to worry about Minnie being alone for too long since she had bad separation anxiety, and Caitlyn always had such care and attention to detail with Minnie's different moods, energy levels, and diet/routine. We now have a one year old puppy, Molly, who is half Belgian Malinois and FULL of energy. Caitlyn is amazing with her too! She keeps up with all of Molly’s playtime/enrichment and walk needs while also giving her tons of love and attention. One thing we especially appreciate is how communicative Caitlyn is. She sends us updates and photos without us even having to ask, which makes being away so much less stressful. It’s clear she’s comfortable with dogs of all ages, personalities, and energy levels. For both our dogs, knowing they are/were happy and well cared for let us actually relax while traveling. We also have fish and birds, and while they don't require much attention, it is also so helpful that Caitlyn has no problem feeding them as well. If you are on the fence about leaving your pet with a perfect stranger, hopefully this eases some of your worries. Caitlyn is reliable, communicative, responsible, and most importantly, she genuinely loves and cares for the animals she watches, and she will be our forever pet sitter as long as she will have us!
