Caitlyn is now our go to sitter for our Scaredy cat Blue. Especially good for this over-worrying cat mom. She accepted my last min request with no hesitation. She allowed me to communicate everything I needed and shared daily information /pics for my Blue, she didn’t need to but she knew I needed that to have a good trip. She helped calm my nerves and won my pet over. I admit I got jealous at one point how affectionate he became with her. lol. It was hard for Blue at first but like her profile says, she knows cats. Thank you Caitlyn! You are the best!

I’ll start by saying that our AC broke down the night before our flight, so our home had no AC for about 3 days, and Phoenix has been very hot for the end of March. Caitlyn was present while the AC worked on fixing it, so I appreciate that. I would also like to add that, at the end of the day, what matters is that our home is in good condition and we found our dogs well when we got back. Here’s my experience: It did not feel like she treated my dogs the way I would. Examples: -Walks: my dogs have long walks in the in the morning, I shared this on my notes . My dogs got morning walks that ranged from 5 minutes to 25 min. -Pictures: I would have appreciated a few more. -Housesitting service: in Rover says “ House sitting on Rover connects you with local pet sitters who'll stay in your home to care for your pets and keep an eye on the property. ” but Caitlyn didn’t stay one night over. Now, I understand the first couple nights was rough, due to the AC, but there was no communication about her decision to not stay overnight at all. I even explained I had left clean sheets and new pillow on our bed, or if she wanted to sleep in the couch that would be fine, too. -Communication: there was definitely a lack of communication at the beginning. She did adjust and apologize for the worry it caused me, however it didn’t build the trust I was looking for. Again, the situation was not ideal with no AC and I know my dogs can be a handful. I also know I am particular when it comes to their care. But that’s why I turned to Rover and what Caitlyn’s previous reviews said. However, it left a lot to desire. I am not upset, and I am not trying to hurt her business at all. I just hope this helps other dog parents who look for specific personalized care in their home.

Caitlyn did a great job! Good communication during her stay and the house and dogs were well-cared for. Will book again!

If I could give Caitlyn 10 stars I would! This was my first ever time using Rover and she did such an amazing job at making sure details were properly understood for care. She was very attentive, and kept me updated throughout the sitting which was a relief especially for a first time Rover user. I will 100% be using Caitlyn for all my sittings in the future.
