We have a fenced yard with dog door access to the house. Since I work from home, I am readily available to walk, feed or pet any dog who asks for it. We let our dogs on the furniture and bed but can easily adjust if needed.

I would like to know your dog's temperament, especially if they have any aggression issues towards other dogs or a cat. My golden retriever is big, but submissive, and has dealt with aggression from other dogs in the past because of this. Dogs over 45 pounds are best who don’t have alpha or aggression history.
A typical day
We enjoy daily walks on the trail, leashed around the property (we have several acres unfenced) and/or playing in the fenced yard. I also enjoy hiking and running with dogs and of it's hot we have a small kiddie pool the dogs like playing in. All three of our dogs are super sociable so they will play with your dog throughout the day as well.

Pet care experience
My partner and I own a house in Cedar Crest on a quiet dead-end road with a fenced yard, dog door and nearby access to hiking trails. I work from home, so I am available for fetch and belly rubs all day! We have a lovely fenced in yard which is great for fetch or playing. We currently have a 12 year old male golden retriever who is great with other dogs. We also have a 7 year old female Bernese Mountain dog who is an adorably lazy playmate, and 3 year old female rescue Berner who has more energy. We also have an indoor/outdoor cat who gets along with dogs well. I have been pet sitting on Rover off and on for about 10 years in both Nevada and Oregon and have cared for our friends and neighbors dogs since moving to New Mexico.

Caitlin and her family watched our goldadore for a week and he had so much fun that he almost didn’t want to come home! They made him part of the family, he loved playing with their dogs and snuggling up in the evenings. Thank you Caitlin!
I left Cooper with Caitlin last minute so I could work in Napa during the fires. She was very accommodating and Cooper loved playing with her golden retriever! It made a stressful time much better knowing he was in good hands!
