Caitlin was wonderful with my senior pups!

I booked Caitlin for a 15-day overnight, due to a short term notice fallout with my regular petsitter. When I saw Anissa's review (the one below mine), I asked Caitlin about it, since I didn't want to make assumptions off of 1 out of 43 reviews. I thought maybe she had just stumbled upon a Karen. She claimed she "had no idea what her problem was" and that she "would never go out of her way to mistreat animals"... BELIEVE OUR REVIEWS. I wouldn't want anyone to go through what I've had to endure this week, much less have your dogs neglected. My 15 year old pup had care instructions to have a potty break every 4 hours and 2 walks a day. I reviewed my security cameras and spoke with my neighbors upon my return. While Caitlin stayed in my house the whole period, she only let my dog out, on average, 2.5x a day. There were multiple periods of over 12 hours where my dog wasn't let out, even with Caitlin at home. She also only walked her once out of the 15 day stay. Caitlin did not pick up any poop in the yard (I didn't expect her to). I became concerned when I only found 4 piles of poop in the yard, with only one walk on the books. 1 walk poop + 4 yard poops = 5 poops total, so where did the other 25 piles of poop go? In my house!!! Three days before my return, Caitlin communicated that my dog had an accident in my room, and she tried to clean it up best she could, when upon my return I found 3-day old untouched diarrhea sunken into the carpet of my bedroom. There was also urine and feces smeared on my floors in the living room and kitchen. On a separate note, she did not take care of the guest bedroom at all. I washed the bedding 3x and had to throw away a new mattress because it was wet to the touch, had stains on it and smelled horrible. She also left fast food trash under the guest bed. The horrific stench that cursed my home still lingers now, 6 days after she's left. We bought a carpet shampooer, shampooed the carpets 4 times, sprayed diluted vinegar and sprinkled baking soda into the carpet, washed every fabric, disinfected every surface, washed the walls, threw away the new mattress, added charcoal deodorizers to each room, and sprayed each room with much more than the recommended spritz of ozium. I wish I was exaggerating. I've been desperately cleaning during all the free time I've had after work since I've gotten back from her stay here. She showed no respect for my home or the care instructions she agreed to upon accepting the booking. As much as I want to just say I'm disappointed... I'm absolutely disgusted.

Not sure what happened and why everyone gives good reviews. We used Caitlin twice, first time she left the dogs unattended for 14hours, we thought we give her the benefit of the doubt and give her a second chance. Because things do come up. This time around, they were left alone for over 12 hours, we came home to the guest room trashed, I had to throw the bedding out it was that bad, the kitchen sink dirty and gross. She was supposed to stay over night every night and may have stay 4 nights out the 11 we were gone. One of them being when the bad weather and tornado’s came threw she left them alone, when I told her they would be scared. The back door was left open pretty much all day and most of the night, so who knows what may have crawled into our house being we live next woods a a swamp and in Florida none the less. Yes we have security cameras. But also our neighbor watches out for us and also told us one night one of the dogs was left outside all night. Will not use Caitlyn again.

Caitlin was great! She kept my boys on schedule which I really appreciated. The house was in the same condition when I got home and the dogs seemed happy and healthy! I will use her again.

Once again Caitlin was great with our pups! She’s the best!

Caitlyn did great taking care of our girls over Thanksgiving! We have her booked already for another trip! We are so appreciative to have found her!
