Pet care experience

Loving, Local Pet Care 🐾

I’ve grown up with dogs and cats my entire life, and animals have always been a huge part of who I am. I also worked as an animal care technician for 2 years at the Richmond SPCA, where I gained hands-on experience with pets of all ages, sizes, and temperaments — including rescues, senior animals, and those with special needs. From administering medication and supporting behavioral training to providing lots of love and enrichment, I bring both professional training and genuine compassion to every pet I care for. I pride myself on being attentive, dependable, and communicative — you can always count on photo updates and thoughtful care tailored to your pet’s needs.

Pets

Safety, trust & environment

I'll care for your pet right in their own home so they stay comfortable and stress-free while you’re away. I will follow their usual routine — walks, meals, meds, bedtime — to make sure they feel safe and loved. I will treat your home with respect and keep you updated with regular photos and check-ins. I will do everything I can to keep your pet happy and give you peace of mind.

Schedule

I work a 9–5, but I’m remote two days a week and available most weekends. I can accommodate lunchtime walks, evening visits, and flexible overnight care. I’m happy to plan ahead to make sure your pet gets the attention and love they deserve — whether it's a midday walk or a weekend stay, your pet will be in good hands.

It’s helpful to know anything that will make your pet feel more comfortable and safe — their routine, likes/dislikes, quirks, and any triggers or things to avoid. I also like to know if they have any medical needs, anxiety, reactivity, or special instructions when it comes to walks, feeding, or being left alone. The more I know upfront, the better I can care for your pet just the way you would!
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
