As the pet caretaker, my main role is to provide excellent care for pets in their own home. This includes visiting the owner's residence on schedule, following feeding and medication instructions, and engaging pets in activities like walks and backyard play. I make sure they're safe in the fenced area, adjusting my approach to each home's setup, and I communicate clearly with the pet owners to meet their pets' needs. For summer walks I will ensure we are walking in grass and avoid dark pavement. I will bring water as well. I prefer for walks to be scheduled during the cooler hours of the day to ensure that pets are safe and enjoying their walks, but I am open to walk at anytime as I've worked in the heat and can handle it.

A typical day
Go on long walks or runs, ensuring they get plenty of exercise and fresh air. Play fetch, tug-of-war, or other interactive games to keep them physically and mentally stimulated. Spend quality time cuddling and giving belly rubs for those who enjoy a more relaxed pace.

Pet care experience
Currently at student at Alfred University visiting for the summer. I have spent a lot of time nannying and working in early childhood development. I regularly communicate with parents about their concerns and their child’s growth and development. I understand how important it is to find the perfect sitter for a child, and I will bring that same dedication and care to looking after your fur babies. I am also extremely active, walking 10,000 to 15,000 steps a day, so having a walking buddies would be amazing.

I adopted a 6 week old puppy and needed someone to help while I worked. I requested she spend 30 minutes a day with her, but Caitlin went above and beyond, staying later than expected, cleaning up messes and generally making my life so much easier in the transition of the new pup. I would recommend her to anyone needing a good dog walker/sitter. She is amazing!
