Caitlin can care for
Availability
I am proud to offer care full-time, 7 days a week and most holidays! I do need the flexibility to feed and care for other pets during the day while house-sitting, including my own. Thank you for understanding! ❗Constant Care (0-2 hours unsupervised) is available 6am-10pm as a daytime hourly rate. I am unable to accommodate constant care overnights for new clients at this time.

*LICENSED AND INSURED* We must trust each other and work together to provide the best support for your animals! I take client safety and privacy seriously. I do ask that you do the same for me while I am in your home. I have been background fingerprinted nationally for other work many times and I'm happy to provide any documentation requested.
Information Caitlin T. would like to know about your pet
Please be forthcoming and transparent about your animals and your situation so that I can provide the best care possible. I'll need to know about about any special needs or requirements for your home or pets. If your home is in a remote area or far from shops, please let me know so we can plan around this together.
A typical day
One of the reasons I love what I do is that "typical" isn't really part of the experience. Every animal is different. After breakfast and some enrichment for your pet (walk, puzzles, etc) I may head home to take care of things and spend some time with my animals or visit daytime clients. Balance is key! I'll return in a few hours for potty breaks, attention, more enrichment. We always have a great time!

Pet care experience
Expert Care for the Pets Who Need a Little Extra Finding a sitter is easy. Finding a qualified professional who understands struggles like reactivity, separation anxiety, complex medication schedules, and senior care is the hard part. Whether you’ve been let down by unreliable friends or feel like your pet is "too much" for a standard boarding facility, I am here to help. I provide a holistic, evidence-based approach that honors how your pet actually communicates, ensuring they stay relaxed and safe while you’re away. The "Safety-First" Process I don’t just walk through your door. We build a foundation of trust before I ever set foot in your home: Detailed Fit Assessment: A deep-dive consultation to ensure my skills align with your pet's specific needs. The Comfort Protocol: A collaborative plan so that you, your pet, and I are as comfortable as possible before the first visit. Expert Oversight: With a background in behavioral support and ongoing Pet Professionals Guild (PPG) credentialing, I provide more than a walk—I provide specialized care. Behavioral Support & Training In addition to dedicated sitting and visits, I help bridge the gap between you and your dog through compassionate, force-free interventions: Critical Puppy Socialization: Maximizing the vital first 16-week window. Reactivity: Building confidence for dogs who struggle Family Dog Safety: Education to keep both your children (or aging parents) and your pets safe and happy. Remedial Support: Building foundations for dogs of all ages. Yes, old dogs CAN learn new tricks! (and even potty train) Ready to see if we’re a fit? I maintain a smaller, dedicated client list to ensure every animal gets the attention they deserve.

Reviews

Caity is very knowledgeable about canine behavior. She even gave me a great tip to optimize my training regarding teaching my dog that loud vehicles are not a big deal. She provided timely updates and pics to keep my mind at ease while I was away. The house was tidy and my dog was happy upon my return.

Caitlin stayed for an extended weekend with our 4 month old kitten and was absolutely amazing! I was nervous about leaving our boy for the first time and Caitlin made the whole process so comfortable and reassuring-she met him before we left, and provided a ton of detail about what to expect. It’s very clear that Caitlin is passionate about animals and is incredibly knowledgeable, she went out of her way to provide really helpful new food and litter recommendations and was willing to test things out for us under her care. She was very responsive and respectful of our requests and care for our home as well. 10/10, would absolutely recommend and rebook with Caitlin any time!

Very flexible and accommodating, and clearly has a high standard of care. Prompt with check-ins and A+ kitty pics!

Excellent as always! Very communicative
