Hi! I’m Caitlin! I’ve cared for dogs since I was a kid—whether it was walking neighborhood pups to helping friends and family with their furry companions. For the past 11 years, I’ve been a proud dog mom to my beloved shih tzu, Matilda, who’s taught me everything I know about patience, play, and unconditional love. I know how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your pet. That’s why I test every dog in my care like one of my own—with kindness, consistency, and lots of snuggles. Whether your pup is playful, shy, senior, or somewhere in between, I’ll make sure they feel loved, safe, and at home. What sets me apart from other sitters is that I will write a personalized story about your pup's adventures with my family as a keepsake of our time together.

Schedule
I primarily work from home and have an extremely flexible schedule to cater to your pets needs. I take Matilda on frequent walks and would love to add more furry friends to the mix! I'm a writer and storyteller and will capture your pet's adventures with my family in a personally curated story for you to take home as a keepsake!

I have a large fenced in back yard where your fur baby can gallivant and romp. I live in the Woodmont neighborhood of Bon air where I can take them on long strolls with very little traffic. I’ll treat your fur baby as one of my own and can cater to their individual needs.

A typical day
A typical day with me is full of tail wags, belly rubs, and plenty of love. I start the day early with a potty break and a good stretch for your pup—followed by breakfast and a little playtime to get the wiggles out. Whether your dog loves a long sniffari walk or a cozy cuddle on the couch, I tailor our time together to their needs. Throughout the day, I keep a close eye on their mood, energy, and comfort. I make sure water bowls are full, routines are kept consistent, and that your pet feels safe and loved while you're away. I’m big on communication, so you can expect updates, photos, and honest check-ins so you know exactly how things are going. Evenings wind down with dinner, a calm walk, and a little quiet time before bed—so they sleep soundly knowing they’re cared for. Every pup in my care is treated like family. Whether I’m visiting for a quick drop-in or several days in a row, I approach each visit with patience, kindness, and attention to detail.
