Animal-loving family with 2 cats
I grew up with a dog and have always loved being around them. As an adult, I’ve often looked after my parents’ dogs when they were away, so I’m very comfortable with walks, routines, feeding, and all the day-to-day care that comes with them. More recently, our family has become a bit of a cat family too — we have two cats at home now and have really enjoyed learning their different personalities and routines. We also have two kids who love animals and have grown up around pets. They're used to being around cats and dogs and enjoy spending time with them. I’m reliable, attentive, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. Whether it’s dogs or cats, I treat every pet like they’re part of the family and make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for.

Schedule
Pet care fits really easily into my daily routine. I work part-time outside the home, and the rest of the time I’m home, so I have a pretty flexible schedule. I’m usually available in the mornings for walks or check-ins, and again in the afternoons and evenings for additional visits or care as needed. I’m good at building things into my day and making sure pets get consistent attention and care.

When caring for pets in my home, we have a fenced yard for outdoor time and play. We do have two cats, but they can be kept separate from dogs in another part of the house so everyone stays comfortable. For dogs staying with us, I would prefer they are crate trained for sleeping and for times when I’m not home, just to keep things safe and low-stress for everyone. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m very respectful of your space and your pet’s routine. I follow instructions closely so your pet stays on their normal schedule as much as possible. This includes feeding, walks, playtime, litter or clean-up as needed, and making sure your pet feels comfortable and secure in their own environment. I also make sure your home is left tidy and everything is how you left it.

A typical day
We have a fenced yard and spend a lot of time outside, so there will be lots of opportunities for play and fresh air. Daily walks are part of the routine, and your dog will get plenty of attention and time to burn off energy throughout the day.
