I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while in my care. In a client’s home, I respect their routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special instructions. I pay close attention to each dog’s personality and energy level to make sure they feel relaxed and cared for. I also keep owners updated with plenty of pictures and messages so they can feel at ease while away. My goal is to create a calm, trustworthy environment where pets are treated like family.

A typical day
A typical day with the pets I watch starts with making sure they’re comfortable, fed, and have fresh water. For dogs, I like to keep them active with walks that match their energy level and personality. During walks, I focus on safety, exercise, and making sure they get plenty of attention and positive interaction.

Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs my whole life and have experience training them with basic commands. Over the years, I’ve cared for four Labs and two rescue dogs, so I’m very comfortable with different personalities and energy levels. After moving to Newport, I’ve really missed being around dogs and would love to treat yours like family while they’re in my care. I especially enjoy long walks, playtime, and making sure dogs feel happy, safe, and loved. I’ll also send plenty of photos and updates so you always feel connected to your pup!
