Hi there! I'm Caitlin, and for the past 13 years, I have gained extensive education, training, and experience with all types of animals. I have been with Rover since 2014 and have had over 190 clients through the years. As a proud professional, the experience under my belt includes: - Solo management of a small, rural cat shelter - Behavioral and adoption staff at a large urban animal shelter - Dog and cat training - Fear free certification - Management staff for boarding and daycare - Professional bathing/grooming - Exotic animal handling - Bachelor's degree in Animal Behavior Besides my professional experience, I have been a pet owner my whole life - dogs, cats, and exotics included! Right now - I have four beloved cats who I have clicker trained myself! ** Currently, my preferred clients are cats, small dogs, seniors, and more relaxed pets. I am not suited to care for strong, energetic dogs who need extensive exercise. ** In-home boarding and dog daycare are services I vet very extensively and am particular about due to my cats. While I do offer the services, it is always better to choose a house sit/drop in visit with me instead - these I can be much more flexible about. Some other services I provide beyond the basics include: - Wedding pet care and assistance - Pet transportation - Travel pet care and assistance - and more!

Caitlin is the best! My fiance and I were naturally a little nervous to use Rover for the first time, but we needed a pet sitter to stay at our house to care for our four-year-old husky lab mix Lucy and our six chickens. Caitlin stood out to us for her excellent reviews and years of professional experience working with animals. From the moment we inquired about her availability, she was very responsive and professional. We loved that she requested a meet & greet before we agreed to the pet sitting. She asked great questions that we hadn't even thought to mention prior to pet sitting. During pet sitting, she went above and beyond to help us out by not only taking great care of Lucy, but taking care of our chickens daily and helping out with our pool which we had filling while we were away. She sent us daily photos of Lucy. Lucy even snuck into our guest room to cuddle with Caitlin every night, which she only does with people who she feels comfortable with. We definitely want to work with Caitlin again and will recommend her to our family and friends. Thanks Caitlin!!

Caitlin was great! Professional and responsive. We had a little snafu with the automatic wet feeders the first day- but everything else was perfect. She got great photos of my guys while I was away too-so they were very comfortable with her- which was so nice. i will definitely look for her next time I need drop ins!

Schedule
I am a *CONSTANT CARE SITTER!* That means, I am in your home for the vast majority of the day, due to my day job being completely remote and flexible. While some others may need to step out for a full work day, I commit my time to YOUR pet(s) and YOUR pet(s) only - which sets me apart from other sitters. You may see that my husband, Josh, is also on my profile. He will occasionally help me with some services, but I am the primary sitter. I will always let clients know if he is going to be present for any services.

Safety for pets and myself is and always has been my top priority. I am proudly fear free certified and have worked on extensive safety training measures in all of my professional working environments. I know how to use all types of equipment (leashes, collars, harnesses, e-collars, etc) with ease.

A typical day
During the day, I will do everything to keep your pets routine in tact, down to the minute. Since I work remotely and can work from anywhere, anytime - I am able to attend to pets who need extra attention during the day, lunchtime feedings or let outs, or comfort if the weather gets bad. I am a Certified Snuggler™ and will give your pet as much or as little attention and one on one time as they want! If your pet loves training, positive reinforcement, toy time, i'm your girl. If you have a pet that just LOVES brushing, i'm happy to oblige. I will spoil and love your pets as if they were my own, always. Because I work remotely, it is required for me to have a stable Wi-Fi connection if I am booked for a house sitting.

- - I require an emergency contact who is LOCAL to the area and can be contacted if needed! Please make sure this part of your profile is up to date. - If I am booked for a house sit, please give your veterinarian the OK for me to request services if needed in case of emergency. - I require meet and greets for all house sits, these are complimentary. I highly encourage them with all other services and may request them if I feel necessary before confirming booking. This is to make sure that we match expectations and I can meet your pet and ensure they are comfortable with me before bookings.
