As I live in student accommodation I am not able to care in my home, but I am more than happy to meet and exceed any of the guidelines you will have towards how to provide the best care for your pet in their home environment, in order to make sure they are as comfortable as possible. It will be just me looking after your pet or pets, so you can trust that they will get unbridled attention and affection! I will keep things, such as their daily schedule, consistent and calm so they feel secure at ease whilst you’re away.
Information Caitlin F. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know any accommodations your pet requires in order for them to be as comfortable as possible being under my care during a time I’m certain they’ll be missing you. I want them to have as much fun as possible whilst I provide them with all the care and love they need :)
A typical day
Walking with the company of a dog is one of my favorite things to do! I like to let them set the pace and explore as the wandering is not only fun, but also mentally engaging. On our walks, we might visit a nearby park or field to play on the grass, or meet other friendly dogs if that suits your pet’s personality. Every animal is different, so each day will be shaped around their individual needs and preferences. Some may love being active and outdoors, whilst others might lots of rest and cozy time at home. Whether your pet wants to relax at home, play in the garden or walk and explore as much as possible, I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, cared for and loved.

Pet care experience
I have taken in many animals from friends or family over the years: hamsters, rabbits, a cat (and then kittens), and a tortoise. At home today we have our tortoise, Denzel, who we got in 2019 and requires very specialised reptilian care. In 2022 we got our dog Ludo as puppy. I was responsible for the puppy training for Ludo, for example teaching the proper outdoor bathroom etiquette and little tricks - he is now 3 and a very well behaved boy (who my mum brings up to visit me more often than is likely usual). I’m a student at Newcastle University studying Environmental Science and whilst I’ve been away I have missed caring for animals so much, so I would love to be able to treat and look after your pets with so much care! Over time, I’ve gotten really comfortable caring for all kinds of animals with all kinds of personalities. I pay attention to how they’re feeling and can pick up on behavioural clues, stick to their usual routines, and always make sure they feel calm and cared for. I’m happy to follow any instructions you have, keep going with any training, and just be someone your pet can feel safe and relaxed with while you’re away.
Reviews
Caitlin spent time with my cats in the pre-meet. It was clear that she showed great affinity with my pets. She sent regular updates, which were reassuring. She left the house cleaned and tidy. I will definitely book her again

Caitlin was an absolute gem of a sitter. She sat our two old dogs at our home for a week and from the meet and greet all the way to the last day of our trip she gave us frequent updates and photos from our dogs which made us feel reassured that they are in good and caring hands so we could also enjoy our holiday without having to worry about our dogs. She took them for their routine walks and ensured they had clean water, food, treats and lots of love. Our oldest dog gets seizures a handful of times a year and unlucky for Caitlin, he had two episodes while she was sitting him. She handled the situation very well and kept us in the loop frequently. We came back to two happy dogs and a very clean and tidy house so not only she was a great house sitter but she also was a great guest at the house while we were away. Can't recommend Caitlin enough and hopefully she liked our dogs enough to help us in future sittings as well. Thank you Caitlin.

Caitlin went over and beyond the basics needs of the cats, she made sure they also feel comfortable and happy, rather than just feeding them and cleaning the litters. She will be my first choice in the future when I need catsitting. 🙂

Caitlin was brilliant with Bonny - she sent photos and Bonny was clearly her best friend by the time I got home. Defo would recommend
