Having my own pup, I understand how nerve wracking it can be to leave your dog or cat with a stranger. To be honest, I haven't left my dog with anyone but very close friends because I'm too nervous! With that being said, know that your pup or cat is in safe and overly protective hands : )

Let me know if your dog has any special needs - I.e. allergies, medicine, injuries, aggressive behaviors, etc. It is very important for me to know what I should expect so I don't place your dog or myself in any uncomfortable situations unintentionally.
A typical day
I am a big runner so as long as you are comfortable with me exercising your pup, I'd be happy to take him or her for a jog.

I grew up with dogs (and a variety of breeds and sizes), from boxers, to gordon setters, to French pointers. I now have my own pup, a German Shepherd Lab named Lilo, but she will be staying with my ex-partner for the summer, so I am entirely free to housesit/dog sit (or cat sit!). I recently graduated from grad school. I was studying photojournalism, and photographed professionally prior to returning to school (if you need dog portraits, let me know!). I am bouncing back and forth between my mom's house in Pennsylvania and my dad's in Westchester, NY, so am a short train ride to NYC. I am looking for at least 1 week-long house sitting opportunities in NYC.
