About Caitlin C.
Safety, trust & environment
I live in a single‑family home in San Jose with a fully fenced, pup‑proofed yard. Your dog can relax on the couch, nap in the sun, or hang out with my friendly 14‑year‑old poodle‑terrier mix. Because I work from home, dogs are rarely left alone and can go out for potty breaks every 0–2 hours. I keep a close eye on introductions and always do slow, supervised meet‑and‑greets so everyone feels safe.

Information Caitlin C. would like to know about your pet
Before a stay, I like to understand your dog’s routines, quirks, and any health or safety needs. Please share feeding schedule, potty routine, meds, crate use, and what your dog loves or finds stressful. If your pup is working on specific training (leash manners, reactivity, separation), let me know so I can be consistent with your cues and reinforce what you’re doing at home.
A typical day
A typical day includes a morning potty break and walk, relaxed hang‑out time while I work, and an afternoon walk or play session tailored to your dog’s energy level. For active pups, that might mean a longer walk or short run; for seniors, more gentle strolls and cuddle time. I also incorporate mental enrichment with puzzle toys, lick mats, and simple training games to keep your dog engaged and content.

WFH dog mom with fenced yard
Pet care experience
I’m a WFH dog mom in Berkeley with decades of experience caring for small and senior pups. I specialize in 0–40 lb dogs, seniors, and dogs who need a little extra patience or medication support. I’ve cared for dogs since I was 8, starting with neighborhood pups and eventually my own dog, Silky, who was with me for 17 years. Since then I’ve had two more dogs and regularly care for friends’, family’s, and neighbors’ pets. I’m comfortable following detailed routines, giving oral medications, and reinforcing training you’re already working on. My goal is for your dog to feel like part of the family while you’re away. PS If your dog enjoys (or needs lots of) exercise, I’m happy to provide long walks or gentle runs.
Reviews
Pasta loved his outdoor time with Cait and her boys. Cait is patient, attentive, and mindful of helping us reinforce Pasta's good boy behaviors. He came back tired out and obedient! Cait was also very responsive and available to us via text, sending us regular photo updates of Pasta's daily adventures. We'll definitely be using Cait's services again!
Cait was incredible! On multiple occasions I've had her take care of my pets (3 chickens and a cat) and she showed up on time, did everything great and was a great communicator, letting me know exactly what was going on. Cait also went above and beyond the call of duty when there was an issue with the cat's food and it needed to be replaced. I can't imagine using any other sitter for my pets.
