Professional Experience & Knowledge
I have over 2.5 years of professional pet care experience at a busy boarding facility, in which I took care of dogs and cats, plus extensive personal experience caring for dogs, cats, and rabbits. I now work at a veterinary clinic as a veterinarian assistant hoping to attend university and be a veterinarian doctor! Not only that, but I have a special interest in canine ethology, which carries over into my everyday life. Currently, I have two rabbits and have raised seven kits (baby rabbits) myself, along with caring for a total of nine rabbits over time, all now happily homed! I’ve also grown up with and raised a variety of dog breeds in my 21 years of life —from an 180 lb European Great Dane and another Great Dane rescue, to two Cocker Spaniels, an Irish Water Spaniel, and a Cavalier Spaniel. Right now, I share my home with a Great Dane named "Bmo" and an Irish Water Spaniel named "Butter" alongside my two bunnies, who were mentioned previously. We are definitely a Spaniel and Great Dane home if you can tell :). This hands-on experience gives me a deep understanding of different temperaments, needs, care routines, handling, and training. Although I have not had the honor of raising cats in my home, or growing up with them side by side -- I do have personal experience in caring for neighbors cats', as well as my professional experience in caring for cats at a boarding facility, here in Indiana. I’m comfortable administering medication, managing feeding schedules, and adapting to each pet’s personality. What sets me apart is my genuine passion, patience, and commitment to making every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved.

I left my Great Dane with Caitlin and it amazes me how knowledgeable she was. She was attentive to my baby and I like how she was able to him on walks. I was in a it of pickle since I had the state last minute but I was referred from a friend of mine, so I really appreciate her. Thanks Caitlin 😊

Pet care is a natural part of my daily life. I can offer flexible scheduling, whether you need early morning visits, midday check-ins, or evening cuddles! I’m used to the rhythms of feeding, walks, litter box cleaning, playtime, and giving pets the attention they deserve on their schedule. I do currently work at a veterinarian clinic, so I may ask for some flexibility if you allow.

Please feel free to "info dump" on me, as I closely follow your instructions for feeding, exercise, and medication, and I’m always attentive to changes in behavior or health. In my home, pets have a clean, quiet space with plenty of fresh water, toys, and cozy spots to relax. When I visit your home, I treat it with respect, leaving everything exactly as I found it while ensuring your pet feels safe and loved. Building trust with both pets and their owners is my top priority—so you can relax knowing your furry family member is in caring, capable hands.
