Pet care experience
Park Ranger & Friend to Animals
From taking care of my own pets to completing daily chores on my best friend's farm, I have been an animal lover and caregiver from a young age. Now as a part-time park ranger, I get to extend this love to animal ambassadors such as Box Turtles, Eastern Rat Snakes, and Praying Mantids while maintaining time to care for your furry (or scaly) loved ones too!

Caitlin also cares for cats. Learn about their cat-specific care experience.
Qualifications
Ratings and reviews
Caitlin is hands down the best pet sitter we’ve had. She’s great with my two grumpy cats and was able to handle medical needs and cat attitude with ease. She even made friends with my cats which is not the easiest thing to do. She’s the best!

I really appreciate the good care that Caitlin provides my cats, they are very important to me.

Caitlin has been fantastic with my Hazel girl. She is very patient, even though my dog has a tendency to pull on the leash. Hazel always comes home exhausted and happy!

I find her very dependable and she takes very good care of my cats.

Caitlin was great with communication and kept me informed about my kittens while I was away. I enjoyed getting the updates with pictures attached. When the need arises, I will hire her again.

Caitlin is a favorite with my cats and with me!! She is very communicative and responsive with me while I’m away and she takes excellent care of my cats. 🐈🐈⬛

Calendar and availability
Schedule
I am currently working part-time, with even lower hours in the off-season and therefore have plenty of availability for pet care. I am available all day 2-3 weekdays as well as most weekends and can additionally do drop-ins early in the morning or late at night on the few days I do work.
Where your pet will stay
Safety, trust & environment
As someone who has taken college coursework on animal behavior, conservation, and "How Animals Make Us Human," I utilize insights from this background to provide better care. This includes reading behaviors to determine needs, providing proper mental stimulation and enrichment through toys and puzzles, and providing socialization by spending quality time with the animals I am caring for. I believe that as pet owners we have a responsibility to know our animals - their thought processes, preferences, and needs - so I ensure to work with clients and get to know their pet(s) prior to providing care.
Pets
A typical day
I love to tire out your high-energy pets by playing with their favorite toys and taking them for walks around the neighborhood or even just running around in the yard. If requested I can also work on mental stimulation by filling a lick pad with treats or creating a puzzle for them to work through. For low-energy pets we will focus more on quality time in the house or yard and just hang out together the way they like best - whether that be cuddling, just sitting in the same room together, or even watching for birds out the window.
