I welcome pets into my home on a safe and spacious 19-acre farm, where they can explore, play, and relax in comfort. Our property is conveniently located just off I-40 in Burgaw, NC, about 30 minutes from both Wilmington and Jacksonville. With over 10 years of experience, I’ve cared for dogs, cats, senior pets, exotic animals, and pets with special needs. My passion for animals goes beyond basic care: I treat every pet as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, loved, and at home. Communication with pet parents is always a top priority, so you’ll have peace of mind while your pets are in my care.

We had a great experience with Caitlin watching our dogs! She communicated very frequently, sent lots of photos and sweet updates, and was always very responsive. It gave us a lot of peace of mind while we were away knowing the dogs were being so well cared for. We’d definitely book with her again!
My dog has the absolute best time at Caitlin’s! She sends updates with pictures and is wonderful about any special requests I may have. I know my dog is always so well taken care of when he’s with her!
Caitlin is amazing! She sent us pictures of our dog, Maggie.. playing fetch, relaxing in the house, eating her meals.. Caitlin treated Maggie as if she was part of their family. She sent us daily reports of what Maggie's activities were. Very nice person. We will definitely be booking with Caitlin in the future.

Schedule
I’m available around the clock to give pets consistent attention and companionship. I welcome both short and extended stays year-round, and never charge extra for holidays.

Safety, trust & environment
Our home includes a fully fenced backyard for safe outdoor time, plus miles of scenic trails for leashed walks. Inside, pets are welcome to snuggle on the couch or bed, or to relax in one of the many cozy pet beds. I’ve also set up a dedicated “Rover Room” with toys, beds, and treats to keep pets happy and enriched. For families who prefer or require crating, I provide multiple crate sizes already set up comfortably, so there’s no need to bring your own unless you’d like to.

A typical day
Every day is shaped around your pet’s personality and needs. Some enjoy running and playing across the farm, while others prefer gentle walks, sunbathing, or quiet cuddle time inside. Between outdoor adventures, cozy naps, and plenty of attention, your pet will always have a balance of fun, comfort, and companionship. Whether they thrive on high-energy play or a slower, calmer pace, I make sure they feel secure, engaged, and loved.
