Reliable & Experienced House Sitter
I have a BS in Applied Communication Studies, but what makes me unique as a sitter is that I have experience with a variety of animals and geriatric care. I have had pets my entire life, and I have been house-sitting since I was a teenager (now 34). Plus, I have a no romantic relationships, and my foremost goal is to build a career in public relations. I try to keep my prices modest, and I can be negotiable. I do have puppies listed as a little more because of potty accidents and the danger to clothing which requires changing outfits. If you feel that your puppy has grown out of this, I am happy to reevaluate, but larger puppies that like to play rough still apply. I have taken care of small and extra-large dogs, indoor and outdoor cats, birds, lizards, exotic fish, sugar gliders, and scorpions. Some dog breeds that I have sat for are Irish wolfhounds, Scotties, Great Danes, mastiffs, an otter hound, berger picards, German shepherds, labs, corgies, and shih tzus. Right now, my family has an unruly Irish wolfhound, and she is just soooo much fun. Personally, I have 2 cats, so my availability is pretty open, but I do not sit animals at my own home.

I do not take pets home with me. That is a strict rule of mine. Walking, feeding, and waste removal are to be done per the pet owner's instructions and at/starting from the owner's house. As a bonus, I will also water your plants while you are gone! For walking, I also rather only walk one household at a time. This prevents any cross-contamination of illness or parasites. Because my dad was a pilot, I know how important it is to find someone you trust inside your home, and I hope you will give me the opportunity to be a local helping hand.

Caitlin was amazing!! This is our first time using an overnight sitter for our week long trip to Hawaii and it couldn’t have gone any better. The dogs were well taken care of and loved on. They hardly even noticed we were back! I highly recommend Caitlin to anyone looking for someone to care for their fur babies like their own.
My little puppy is only five months old. I was very apprehensive about even trying to get away and leaving her with someone, but Caitlin was the perfect sitter. I couldn’t have asked for a better person. It was so comforting to know that all of Caitlin‘s attention was given to my dog while I was away. I will definitely hire her again. Big HUG Caitlin!!!❤️🐕❤️
Caitlin was great. She agreed to come watch my dogs on short notice. She sent me several pics letting me know that my babies were happy and doing fine.

Caitlin was awesome. Was available last minute when our other sitter could not make it. She got along great with Luna and took her for walks and treated Luna like she was hers. Sent photos and updates daily. Would use again anytime. Highly recommend!

Schedule
Right now, I work on a contract basis so my availability is what I plan for. Time usually isn't an issue. I prefer to do services closer to home to ensure I can make daily or every other day visits back home to see my pets, and I will only accept bookings that I know can be completed without interference from other obligations.

- I do not have breed preferences, but I will not take care of aggressive dogs. I am also capable of handling very large-sized dogs. Please be clear about food portions, time-of-day preference, and exercise expectations. I try not to adjust their routine more than necessary because this causes additional stress to the parent being gone. If any medications are necessary, please explain what types, if the animal is reluctant to take them, and, if so, what your trick is. *Please also inform me of any anticks, like places they get out of the yard at/how, if they try to slip their leash, if they have bathroom issues, favorite toys, treat occasions, or even training that should be reinforced.
