Pet care experience

SOS need dogs to hang out with

I've taken care of dogs since college, when I became an in-house dog sitter for professors over breaks and holidays. I was referred to other local dog owners through professors and colleagues and stayed busy with dogsitting for years. I do have experience with older dogs with medications and recent surgeries as well as untrained dogs. I am new(ish) to the Wilmington area and am excited to keep meeting cute doggos through Rover! Cats are cool too :)

Safety, trust & environment

We live in a house with an unfenced backyard, right next to a great park and beautiful, quiet walkable neighborhood in general. I loooove going on long walks if the dog is up for that. Depending on what you’re comfortable with, I’m also open to going to parks & exploring new areas to sniff 😂

Caitie was fabulous with my quirky girl, great communication too. Not sure my pup was that happy to see me come home- think she was looking for Caitie!

Caitie was great! This was our first experience with her - she was very nice, paid attention to our needs (one of our dogs has special needs), and provided great feedback. We would recommend her to others.

We are over the moon with how well Caitie treated our babies & our home. Super punctual, kind, and responsible. Our dogs are a little high needs—both rescues in the process of getting training—and she seemed to have no trouble with them whatsoever. Super communicative as well. Thanks again! We’ll definitely be contacting her again in the future. 🙂

Caitie was everything we could ask for from a rover sitter. Leaving the country made us apprehensive about boarding our dog and unable to find a relative to watch her we opted this route and we’re so glad we did. Daily photos and recaps of how our dog was doing put us at ease and we cannot thank Caitie enough!

What is most important for me to know about your dog is if they like CUDDLES! JK….kind of I’ll ask for vet info, med requirements, daily routine / schedule, etc to keep your pup happy :)
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
