Pet care is already a natural part of my daily routine. I enjoy being active and spending time outdoors, so regular walks, playtime, feeding schedules, and quality one-on-one attention easily fit into my day. Weekends are often spent outside, making them perfect for extra exercise and enrichment. Caring for animals is something I genuinely love, not just a job.

Safety, trust & environment

Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I own my own home, providing a calm, clean, and welcoming environment where pets can relax and feel at home. I take time to learn each pet’s routine, feeding schedule, medications, and preferences so I can provide consistent care. My experience as a certified puppy sitter for Guiding Eyes for the Blind has taught me the importance of patience, supervision, positive reinforcement, and maintaining routines. I’ll also send regular photo and video updates so you can feel confident your pet is happy and well cared for.

Information Cait S. would like to know about your pet

Before your pet’s stay, I’d love to know about their daily routine, feeding schedule, medications, allergies, favorite activities, sleeping habits, and any behavioral quirks or triggers. Please let me know how they interact with other dogs, new people, and different environments, as well as any commands they know or training they’re working on. The more I know beforehand, the better I can make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and at home.

A typical day

Every day is tailored to your pet’s needs and energy level. We start with a potty break and breakfast, followed by walks, playtime, or outdoor time. Throughout the day there are plenty of opportunities for enrichment, cuddles, and rest. I’ll stick to your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible while making sure they receive lots of love, attention, and exercise. You’ll receive updates with photos so you can see all the fun they’re having.

Certified Guide Dog Puppy Sitter

Pet care experience

Hi! I’m Caitlin, and I’d love to care for your furry family member while you’re away. As a lifelong animal lover and dog owner myself, I understand how important it is to know your pet is safe, happy, and loved when you can’t be with them. I provide a calm, comfortable home where your pet will be treated like one of the family—not just another booking. I own my own home, giving your pet plenty of space to relax, play, and feel at home. Whether your dog loves walks, playtime, cuddles on the couch, or simply sticking to their normal routine, I’m happy to tailor their stay to what makes them happiest. Dogs have always been a big part of my life. My mom is a volunteer puppy raiser for Guiding Eyes for the Blind, and through that experience I’ve been certified as a puppy sitter for the program. Caring for future guide dogs has given me valuable experience working with dogs of different personalities while reinforcing positive behaviors, maintaining routines, and providing patient, attentive care. I’m dependable, attentive, and genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique personality. I’ll keep you updated throughout their stay with plenty of photos and messages so you always know how they’re doing. My goal is simple: to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while giving you complete peace of mind. I can’t wait to meet you and your best friend!

Cait is an amazing dog sitter! Our dog, Richie, adores spending time with her and always comes home happy, we’ll fed, and exercised. Cait really does treat him like one of her own and I’m pretty sure Richie would stay with her full time if we let him! She’s also extremely responsive, reliable, affordable, and flexible. We couldn’t ask for a better person!
