Lover of animals of all kinds, especially dogs. I worked as a K9 handler prior to moving to FL. Through this, I have developed skills and techniques to handle any size, breed, or specific need of a dog. Additionally, I have a medical background and am familiar with canine first aid. As a child I grew up with cats, dogs, and rabbits as pets. I was responsible for caring for each and all of these pets. I also cared for several of the neighbors pets when they were away for short and extended periods of time. In my adult years I have rescued, rehabbed, and trained dogs. Using positive reinforcement and reward I have corrected and trained aggressive behaviors, standard obedience, and scent detection. Currently I have a retired 10 year old detection K9. He is very friendly and is great with other animals (with the exception of birds). I also have a 3 and a 4 year old rescue and rehabbed Beagle, both also incredibly friendly and very playful. I have both large and small kennels for any dogs who may require for their duration of stay.
