I provide care in your home through drop-in visits, dog walking, and house sitting, and I treat every pet like they’re my own. I know how important it is to feel confident leaving your pet with someone, especially when they have specific routines or needs. I’m very detail-oriented when it comes to feeding instructions and daily care, and I’m happy to follow even the most detailed directions exactly as given. I have experience administering medications and am comfortable finding whatever method works best for your pet (including the classic “hide it in a treat” approach). Safety is always a top priority. Dogs are always kept on leash during walks, and I’m extremely mindful with doors, gates, and any potential escape routes. I have an escape artist of my own at home, so I understand how important that extra level of awareness is. I aim to create a calm, comfortable environment while still making sure your pet gets plenty of playtime, attention, and affection. Whether they’re energetic or more laid-back, I’m happy to match their pace. I also provide regular photo and video updates so you can feel connected and reassured while you’re away (and yes, I tend to send a lot!).

I’ve always been a dog person. I’m the type who will immediately say hi to a dog on the street and completely forget to greet their human. I’ve cared for my own dogs through all stages of life, including supporting two through severe illness and disability, as well as taking in a senior dog with special needs who required extra help with daily care. That experience taught me a lot about patience, attentiveness, and how important it is to meet each dog where they are. These days, the thing I miss most about having a dog at home is the simple joy of throwing on a leash and exploring the neighborhood together. I’d love to be that person for your dog, whether that means a fun walk, extra attention, or just keeping them company.
