What sets me apart is my lifelong experience with animals of all kinds and ages. Growing up, my family fostered pets through the Wake County Animal Shelter, which taught me how to care for dogs and cats with different personalities, medical needs, and backgrounds. I’m comfortable working with puppies who need training and structure as well as senior pets who require extra patience and gentle care. I also ran my own dog-walking business for two years, giving me hands-on experience with building trust with both pets and owners while providing reliable, consistent care. I treat every animal like family and make sure they feel safe, loved, and happy while you’re away.

When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I focus on creating a safe, calm, and loving environment while sticking closely to their usual routines. Since I live in an apartment, I make sure dogs get plenty of outdoor time through frequent walks, potty breaks, and play sessions so they stay active and happy. I follow all feeding schedules, medication instructions, and training preferences exactly as requested, and I always keep owners updated with photos and messages for peace of mind. In a client’s home, I respect their space and maintain their pet’s normal schedule to reduce stress, making sure they get exercise, enrichment, and lots of attention. Whether it’s caring for energetic puppies, gentle seniors, or shy pets who need extra reassurance, I adjust my approach to fit each animal’s needs so they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for.

Caia house sat and watched our pitty mix for us when we went to my sisters wedding and she did an AMAZING job. She sent multiple photos daily including regular check ins with how our dog was doing and made us feel at ease knowing she was in great hands. We got back and our house and dog seemed cleaner than we left it and I couldn’t have been more grateful. Looking forward to working with her again in the future and would recommend her to anyone!

Caia took very good care of our border collie and our home. She communicated well and sent pictures each day. She went above and beyond, helping me with mailing time sensitive document. She is a sweetheart and I highly recommend her!
Caia watched my boxer dog and 2 cats. All of which were unique personalities and required daily medication. Caia did great with following all the directions and being very gentle and warm with the fuzzies. I felt very comfortable with them in her care while I was away. I recommend her for anyone who needs a helping hand!

Caia was so great with my dog, Whiskey. She kept me informed and sent lots of photos. She followed all the care instructions. She was so great with his resource guarding and felt very comfortable around dogs of different backgrounds. She even got Whiskey a toy and did extra playtime. She is very generous and would highly recommend. She will give your pet all the love and care they need!

Schedule
I am looking to make this more of a full-time job, so I am very flexible. I am a full-time student and my classes are online!
