(Spoiler: they’re always hilarious.) Evening Adventures: After a day of keyboard clicking and virtual brilliance, it’s time to unwind. Evening walks, backyard fetch, or simply lounging on the couch together—it’s our little “we survived another day” ritual. Bonus: no awkward small talk like at the gym. Weekly Spa Days & Supply Runs: One day a week, I can serve as a full-time pet concierge, taking your pets to grooming appointments, checking supplies, and scheduling vet appointments as needed. It keeps me grounded, keeps them healthy, and gives me an excuse to spoil them (as if I needed one). The Emotional ROI: Being an empty nester, pets fill my home with energy, joy, and just the right amount of chaos. They remind me to stay active, present, and most importantly, to stop and enjoy the treat now and then. Bottom line? Pet care isn’t a chore—it’s the heartbeat of my daily routine, keeping me balanced, loved, and on my toes (literally and figuratively).
