I work full-time as a legal assistant with a typical 8 to 5 job so I am able to do a walk or a drop in during my lunch break and then I am able to do significantly more after I get off of work in the evenings! Having an office job, thankfully means that my schedule is usually very predictable, and whether I am pet sitting or just doing drop ins or walks, I am able to pretty reliably know how well something is going to be able to fit into my schedule and there won’t be much variation to when I am able to provide services

I try to both follow the dogs usual routines as well as feel out what they might seem to need from me, with some senior dogs that I have watched for example, I might keep a close eye on the clock to make sure that we're taking bathroom breaks every couple of hours, or with some more energetic breeds we might go on a walk or run one or even two times a day to get the energy out and get out of the house

I would love to know if your dog has a specific schedule that you want me to stick to because for some pets as well as people, a consistent routine is very beneficial. Even if it's just a route that you prefer to take for walks or making sure that feeding times stay the same, I want to make sure that everyone is as comfortable and in their element as possible.
A typical day
I try to stay pretty active as a person myself, so I typically take the pets that I'm watching on a walk every day while the weather permits along with playing with them either at a park or in their own yard.

I have experience in both commercial and private pet care, working at a doggy daycare forming quick, meaningful connections with dogs and cats that I would see regularly, and sitting for pets of family friends to help keep their daily routines consistent while their parents are away

Caelyn did a fabulous job with Sophie (bishon). I booked in-home overnights. She sent lots of pics per request and supplied updates at regular cadences. I trusted her and it allowed me to enjoy my time away! Would definitely recommend Caelyn for your pup 🐶-care!!
We are so so sad that Caelyn is moving out of our area because she is just SO amazing! She treats both of my dogs with such awesome care even though I only book services for my Pitbull. She is so thorough in her reports and I love the pictures of my dogs that she posts to them!
