Availability
From September to June I work full time during the week and am therefore only available during evenings and weekends. During the summer, winter, and spring holidays I have much more availability.

I can spend time in your home with your pet, giving them that extra care they need when you’re away and giving you the peace of mind that your pet is being looked after by someone who is knowledgeable and responsible.
Information Cael R. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your pet has any health conditions, allergies, and/or takes medication, if they have behavioural concerns such as resource guarding or leash reactivity, or if they have any particular fears or triggers. When we have a meet & greet we will go over these further, along with other care instructions.
A typical day
We can do any of your pet’s preferred activities, whether that be a walk around the neighbourhood, some training games, a good play session, or a cuddle on the couch. All housesits come with two 30-minute walks per day. Any additional walks you wish to schedule will come at an extra fee. I would ask that dogs not be left with peanut butter treats or peanut butter in a Kong due to allergies.

Pet care experience
I began pet sitting for rural neighbours starting when I was a child, and over the years have looked after cats and dogs, as well as livestock, and exotic pets. As a teen I worked at both a breeding kennel and a boarding kennel. I also have experience fostering dogs. We recently lost our elderly dog and elderly cat, but currently have two new cats, two poison dart frogs, a gecko, and a 45-year-old turtle. I also run a zoology club at the high school where I teach. We have snakes, geckos, and a frog, many of which live at my home on occasion. I am certified in pet first aid, although this only covers dogs and cats.

Cael was amazing . I adopted my dog roughly two Weeks ago so he is still getting comfortable. I had to leave for an overnight stay out of town and she made sure he was kept busy and went on walks and well taken care of ! Would definitely use her again you can tell she loves animals.
Carl was wonderful with our cats. We came home to happy kitties. They missed us but benefitted from having Cael provide tlc while we were away. Our older kitty was stubbornly avoiding Cael until the last day - when she came out and acted like she hadn’t been rude the whole week lol. Will absolutely book Cael again.
