We have extensive hands on experience with dogs and cats of different sizes, ages, temperaments, and needs. My wife’s work in animal welfare has given us a strong understanding of animal behavior, safe handling, feeding routines, cleaning needs, and the importance of patience with nervous or unfamiliar pets. We’re comfortable caring for pets who need structure, slow introductions, extra attention, or a consistent routine. We understand that some pets warm up immediately, while others need space and patience. We do not force interaction. We let pets settle in and build trust at their pace.

Safety, trust & environment
During visits, we carefully follow the owner’s instructions for feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, walks, medication, crates, gates, doors, alarms, and any house rules. We are very mindful about safety, including securing doors and gates, using leashes as instructed, watching for changes in behavior, and keeping pets away from unsafe situations. We understand that trust is a big part of letting someone into your home and caring for your pet. We treat every home with respect, communicate clearly, and provide updates so owners know their pets are safe, cared for, and comfortable while they are away.

Cade is one of the most caring and responsible people I know when it comes to animals. One time he was babysitting my pet labradoodle and he began to choke on a bone. Cade administered the Heimlich maneuver and saved my dogs life.

Schedule
We both have flexible work schedules and are excellent with time management. We will prioritize the care of your animals and leave you worry free throughout the experience.
