I grew up in a dog household and have been taking care of pets of all kinds ever since! I have taken care of all sorts of animals, including dogs, cats, farm animals, birds, rodents, and reptiles, as well as animals who need extra care (i.e. health conditions, physical disabilities, special diets). I'm happy to explore with your pet or just take it easy. I also offer pet portraits! Check out my gallery for examples!

Cadan is amazing! He took such good care of my pups, his communication was on point and I'm pretty sure my house was cleaner when I got back than when I left. It was such a comfort to know my dogs were in the best care when I was away.

Cadan kept my two senior dogs company for a week, and they didn’t seem the least bit distressed when I returned home. That’s a good sign in my book! Cadan was very adaptable and tolerated my chaotic home front where I was in the middle of multiple remodel/maintenance projects. When I returned, the house was in the same condition that I left it in (possibly even better!). Updates were a bit sparse which made me a little nervous, but they were more frequent after I communicated that I just wanted to see signs of life. They have a good sense of humor, responded to my messages in a timely manner (both before the stay and during), and my dogs seemed relaxed when I returned home. I would definitely hire Cadan again.
Cadan rocks! He took great care of our senior Doberman for a long weekend. He was also extremely accommodating to our shifting schedule, and the house was in perfect order when we returned.
Cadan is one of those people that when you see them interact with your dog, you know they’re in good hands. He’s so knowledgeable about all different kinds of breeds and their needs and is so patient when it comes to shy animals. He is truly a wonderful animal handler I would feel so safe with him walking my dogs.
Cadan Holden's character is impeccable, and his love for animals deep. His fastidious nature combined with sharp intellect and excellent hands-on skills qualify him to care for animals with complex medical needs, and for multiple pets at once. I have personally witnessed him perform animal care and have been deeply impressed with the skill level and sense of responsibility he exhibited; at the same time he clearly enjoys interaction and play with pets. Cadan's high ethical standards and good manners make him an excellent choice for 'in-home' pet care as well. He is prompt, yet flexible making and keeping appointments. I cannot recommend Cadan highly enough.

Schedule
I'm employed full-time Mon-Fri, so I do best with pets who can be left alone for eight hours at a time. However, I can stay with your pet through the weekend if need be.
