Availability
I currently work from home Wednesday-Friday, and am always available on those days should your pet need anything. Walks typically happen around 7:30am, 12:00, 6:00pm, and 8:00pm. Weekends typically entail a two hour walk, be it a hike or an on-leash session. Play and enrichment happens throughout the day! Feeding for my dog occurs at 7:00am and 5:00, though if your dog has other eating habits or needs, I am happy to accommodate.

I have a 30lbs friendly dog to keep yours company, as well as a dog loving kitten. Seperation is also easily available should the need arise. Our apartment has a shared, fenced yard, and a fully contained porch which is great to get outside without needing to worry. Most of our enrichment happens off property at the nearby dog park, and along the river which is located nearby.

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs and/or dietary restrictions or preferences. I have experience caring for elder and special needs dogs, but appreciate as much information as I can get! Typically I use dried liver as treats throughout the day, but if there is something your pooch prefers, I am happy to make the switch!
A typical day
I love to get up and moving! Every day we will play games outside and take long walks; both on and potentially off-leash. The weekends we will almost always hike. Your dog will have the opportunity to play with Posy (my dog), and myself.

Pet care experience
I grew up in a family that has always owned a dog and at least one cat. This has given me experience in handling dogs at every stage of life, as well as some knowledge in specialized care for epilepsy, arthritis, and blindness. I now have a 3 year old Keeshond named Posy, who loves spending time with both people and other dogs and loves long off-leash walks. We often go for hikes in Gatineau Park, and long, leashed walks along the river. I have three years of experience handling dogs in pack-walk situations, and lots of practice handling just one or two in both leash and off-leash scenarios. Your dog will become one of the family during their stay, and will join in on all our fun! My dog is raw-fed, so I have knowledge of how to safely administer a raw diet and am also happy to accommodate special dietary needs. I will be sure to update you on your dog's stay several times throughout the day. I look forward to meeting your pooch!
