Pet care experience

Experienced, so you don’t worry!

I live for dogs! I've interned/worked at dog daycares, shelters, training facility, veterinarian offices, for 13 years handling dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and backgrounds. I have lots of dog walking experience through these years & I have a great understanding of animal behavior and know how to get even the shyest of dogs out of their shell and having a good time. I previously did dog training on the side. There really is no behavior problem I haven’t dealt with and I feel confident I can accommodate any and all dogs. I take watching people pets seriously, it is not just a hobby or leisure, it is a job and people want the top quality care for their dogs! I’ve worked with dogs for so long it is second nature to connect and understand what each dog is trying to tell me, my goal is to make your dogs stay with me as comfortable as possible. I have 3 dogs of my own, all varieties of size and energy levels so I’m confident I can provide excellent care for you furry children!

Cashe was wonderful, short notice booking and she accommodated me very well. You can tell she genuinely loves animals and has a lot of experience working with them. I felt like she knew my Cupcake better than I did! She kept me updated during her short stay and treated my pets like they were her own. I came home to happy, well cared for pets and I would absolutely book with her again. She gave me a great rate as well!!

I was NOT going to leave any review at all but because I got a lengthy message from her because I lodged a complaint about her and she has left a review on me. I personally will NOT be using her and the sitters I have now are fabulous and have been using them for a long time. She claims she communicated some of these things without me replying. If you do NOT get a reply, it does NOT mean I got the message and approve it. Give a call to me as Rover has that capability. I was paying for in home sitting and I would have booked someone else if I knew she was going to be gone longer than expected or leaving early or disappearing late at night to go home, spend time with her pets and showing back up at 2am to turn around and leave at 6am. My cameras show differently than anything she will claim. I was actually disappointed with this sitter. The first time, she left my AC unit extremely low while she was gone for over 10 hours during the heat of summer. I overlooked that issue and figured I would give her a second chance and just relay that information. I explained that while I’m out of town, I do not check my phone, and to text me if she needs an immediate response so I can look at it on Rover. I was surprised to have gotten a message that said, “Would the other sitter be available to come drop in later today?” I didn’t see it for hours eight hours later. I also had her adjust the time of going in because she wasn’t working as long, which removed the extra-time fee, and she was hesitant to do that as well. She didn’t use the proper food. Instead used dry kibble and free fed him which we don’t do and only use as a sprinkler topper. She also broke off one of the cellphone chargers plugged into my power bar, which is no big deal. However, the next time she was in that same area, she knocked down a ton of books and left the mess half on a chair and half all over the place instead of cleaning up the stack or letting me know. Her message directly off Rover was inexcusable and reason for me to write this review.

She was great and able to step up when needed. I’m already using her again.

Schedule

My work schedule varies week to week, but I always do everything I can to make sure my schedule meets your dogs needs. And if it doesn’t, I communicate that before finalizing the booking!

Where your pet will stay

Home characteristics

Lives in a house
Has a fenced yard
Non-smoking household
Has caged pets
Has 2 dogs, 1 cat
No children present
Dogs allowed on bed
Dogs allowed on furniture

Safety, trust & environment

When I stay in someone’s home, I make sure I stay focused on the task at hand, watching your baby. I would never invite anyone over (something I hear happens often) and I always am mindful of the space I’m in so I can respect your home. I can be home all day, or I can drop in most of the day and spend the night. Whatever your baby needs.

Pets

A typical day

I like to keep their schedule as normal as possible so whatever a regular day is to them, I’ll try and mold my schedule to match that! Walks, feeding, and sleep patterns! This helps dogs feel more comfortable while you’re away, and more trusting to a new person caring for them!

0 to 15 lbs
16 to 40 lbs
Spayed and neutered dogs only
No females in heat
Crate-trained dogs only
Takes only 1 client at a time
Caché can host up to 1 pet per night
I love my big square head pups but I still love working with any size and breed! I’d love to know before I sit for a client if the dog has a history or dog-dog aggression or dog- stranger aggression, so I know what to prepare for on an outing. Favorite treats, and any silly habit they may have. Basic training they know? Crate trained? Do the like to be on furniture? Anything you know that scares them so I don’t accidentally do it? Medications of medical conditions?
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
