Cairo and Theia got so excited when they Cable. That says it all.
Cable did a great job with our dogs they are not the most friendly crew to new people and he seemed to win them over and communicated thought his stay. I will use him again.

Was a terrible experience for me and I think my dogs. After two times coming to the house, showing and telling him what and when to feed the dogs, he totally blew it the first night, not even remembering he should put the ground turkey mix-ins, I specifically mentioned and left the container right with the wet food. He did not engage easily with the dogs and did not show warmth toward them. I really don't think he has much experience with dogs/pets but thought it was a good way to make money while going to college. He did not take any notes and I am not sure read the printed directions. He sent me photos of the dogs ONCE in the five days I was gone and I had to ask him for them. I told him if he proactively sent me photos a couple times a day, I would not have to worry and text him to find out how things were going. My initial Rover.com request was to get photos regularly. He sent me a photo of a big pee stain and said he may have neglected to let the dogs out after dinner (instructed multiple times to do this) before he left. I believe he either did not get home to feed them until much later (he was instructed to feed them by 6:30pm as he finished classes some nights at 6pm) or he took off as soon as he fed them and when he returned they had peed on the carpet. It looked to be the male that peed based on the shape/size of the stain, and he NEVER pees in the house so he must have been mad about waiting for dinner. He texted me the last night he stayed and asked if he could take their collars off because when they shook their heads the noise woke him up. The only time and the only reason they would shake their heads to get attention, is because he was not waking up to feed them by 7-7:30am. When I called him Saturday morning after 9am, he said he had just fed them breakfast. I was not sure he was remembering that I had paid him to follow my instructions in caring for my dogs. He was not my guest who needed my dogs to accommodate his sleep schedule. My housemate (who works midnights) said when he got home at 7:30am on Saturday morning, Cable was not here and the dogs were roaming around, wanting breakfast. He even went in and took a photo of the empty bed/bedroom. I have no idea where he was. He never divulged that he did not sleep here, that night which is what he was being paid to do. I asked him to leave the house keys on the counter and he said he thought he left them in his dorm. I told him he needed to bring the keys back the same day. Then he texted me a bit later and said he found the keys in his backpack. It was one of the worst dog/house sitting experiences I have had.. and trust me I have hired many, many dog-sitters over the past 30 years. I do not recommend him. He did not take the job seriously, he did not pay attention to instructions in writing or given verbally and in-person.

My dos LOVE Cable! It's great how flexible Cable is and how much attention he gives the dogs.
Cable did an excellent job with our three dogs one of which is a grumpy old dog and another that’s a very shy dog. We will definitely use him again.

Cairo and Theia loved Cable! Theia was begging for him to stay longer. Cable arrived early and noticed was breathing a little heavy because of her allergies. Thanks Cable!
