Hi! I’m Cabby, a remote HR professional living in a cozy townhome near Midtown/Old Fourth Ward. I’ve loved dogs since I was 7 (yes, I even had a puppy-themed room 😄). I grew up with my chow chow, Deogee, and spent my school years helping neighbors walk and care for their dogs. That passion carried into college and beyond. After moving to Chicago, I volunteered for 3 years at PAWS Animal Shelter, working in their medical center. I walked dogs, provided enrichment, and cared for pups with all kinds of personalities. I also earned a beginner training certification focused on handling reactive and more reserved dogs. One of my biggest strengths is reading dog body language and helping each pup feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Since I work from home, I have a flexible schedule and can give your dog plenty of attention, updates, and care while you’re away. I’d love to meet you and your pup!

I live in a condo building that is extremely pet friendly. It’s a gated community that includes a dog walking path. Due to my flexible daily schedule, I am also open and eager to offer my services at your residence as well for as long as needed. I have a reliable SUV if transportation is needed as well!

Alfie was so well taken care of with Cabby! She watched him for almost a week at our house. We loved the regular updates and all the love and care she gave our sweet (but very needy) Pitt Bull! Cabby is incredible and we are grateful to have found her!
Cabby is absolutely wonderful! She took such good care of Alfie (and our home) while we were gone. She has wonderful energy, loves dogs, and is very communicative- we got sweet updates on our pup every few hours! Cabby is a real gem!

Cabby did a fantastic job with our dog, Ellie. She watched her over 4th of July weekend which is a tough weekend for Ellie due to fireworks. Cabby was incredibly patient with Ellie and sent frequent updates so we knew she was doing OK. Highly recommend Cabby for your dog watching needs!
Cabby is wonderful. My pup liked her as soon as they met, which made me feel comfortable and at ease about leaving them together. She was friendly, prompt with all drop-ins, and she communicated well and often. Would definitely recommend!

Schedule
I work fully remote! I currently live alone in a townhome near midtown/old fourth ward. I don’t have any kids or pets of my own (although I would love a puppy of my own someday maybe by the end of this year!) Outside of my remote work, I love to go on long walks on the betline, learning Spanish remotely through lessons, and I enjoy practicing and playing music. Overall, my schedule is flexible enough to fit your needs!

- I’ve volunteered with many different dog breeds, ages and sizes. So I am well equipped to handle many furry friends. If you can, I would prefer to know your dog’s simulation level. For example if a visit on the betline or a nearby park is something your dog would love—or despise. I would love to respect their needs as much as possible!
