I work fully remote! I currently live alone in a townhome near midtown/old fourth ward. I don’t have any kids or pets of my own (although I would love a puppy of my own someday maybe by the end of this year!) Outside of my remote work, I love to go on long walks on the betline, learning Spanish remotely through lessons, and I enjoy practicing and playing music. Overall, my schedule is flexible enough to fit your needs!

I’ve volunteered with many different dog breeds, ages and sizes. So I am well equipped to handle many furry friends. If you can, I would prefer to know your dog’s simulation level. For example if a visit on the betline or a nearby park is something your dog would love—or despise. I would love to respect their needs as much as possible!
A typical day
In the mornings, I love taking a long walk to a nearby park and back to the house. I live nearby so many lovely parks and the betline! Around lunchtime, I do what I can to release some energy and play with them using toys, balls, etc! Later in the day, we go outside again to explore a new park than before and then return home for some relaxation cuddle time on the couch.

Hi! I’m Cabby, a remote HR professional living in a cozy townhome near Midtown/Old Fourth Ward. I’ve loved dogs since I was 7 (yes, I even had a puppy-themed room 😄). I grew up with my chow chow, Deogee, and spent my school years helping neighbors walk and care for their dogs. That passion carried into college and beyond. After moving to Chicago, I volunteered for 3 years at PAWS Animal Shelter, working in their medical center. I walked dogs, provided enrichment, and cared for pups with all kinds of personalities. I also earned a beginner training certification focused on handling reactive and more reserved dogs. One of my biggest strengths is reading dog body language and helping each pup feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Since I work from home, I have a flexible schedule and can give your dog plenty of attention, updates, and care while you’re away. I’d love to meet you and your pup!

Cabby is phenomenal! This was our first time leaving our 2 dogs with a sitter. We were nervous about what to expect and how the pups would do under the care of someone new. Cabby went above and beyond anything I could've expected. From the beginning, she was professional and communicative. She did a fantastic job not only with the pups, but caring for our home as well. She provided multiple updates daily, which were so entertaining to read. It was as if I was reading the dogs' daily journal entry! Cabby truly loves dogs and has the experience to care for different needs and personalities. I can't thank her enough for the peace of mind she provided us while we were away, and for being such a trustworthy and reliable caretaker. I highly recommend her and would definitely book with her again!
Cabby was amazing with our pup! It was our first time leaving him with a sitter, and she was so great with him. She was very communicative with us and provided many photo updates throughout the day. She was able to administer medication for him and give him plenty of exercise! I felt very at ease with her care and could not recommend her enough. Our apartment was left very clean as well. Cabby goes above and beyond.
Cabby was great and a life saver at the last min! Very accommodating and made it work with various schedules. Thanks again for being a team player and looking after the poodles!
