I'm looking to fill my summer schedule with some consistent pet care gigs. I'll be away a few times for trips so we can communicate what works best for both of us.

When I'm home, I take my dogs on 2 decent walks every day and/or to the park so they get decent exercise. In your home, I'm happy to watch over your pet with as many walks as needed, or take them on field-trips! During the summer I have access to a dog-proofed car. I have experience doing both overnight care and day care in other client's homes and can help out with chores too, if needed.
Information C M. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your pet likes their physical space--I love giving snuggles, but I want to respect their boundaries if they don't like touch. Same with shyness, I like to catch up with friends strolling with your dog on occasion, but if they don't like strangers I'm happy to give them a solo walk.
A typical day
The activities I do with animals in my care are tailored to their physical capacity; I can go for runs with your greyhound or give lots of pets to your less-active senior kitty. Regardless of your pet's energy levels and abilities, I want to stay equally engaged and provide 1:1 attention.

Pet care experience
I've grown up taking care of cats, dogs, gerbils, birds, and even stick bugs. As a result, I know how to handle energetic, messy puppies to senior dogs who require special medical attention. I'm good with anxious/shy pets-I worked at an animal rescue helping socialize new arrivals and have rehabbed sick/injured wildlife. Additionally, I have experience meeting the diverse needs of pets (my border collie needs hours of exercise daily, while my senior dog needs creative enrichment since she has limited mobility). I can clip nails/groom/bathe your pet as well!
Reviews

C took great care of our animal babies and was really good with our dog who can be a bit anxious. They have done walks as well as overnights for us and have been reliable and excellent!

CM was punctual and professional. Would definitely book again!

C is a wonderful pet sitter. He has watched our cats before; they love him and so do we! C is communicative, responsible, compassionate, kind, and has a great sense of humor and a grounded presence. He’s great with animals of all kinds; in addition to cats, I’ve seen him with dogs, rabbits, gerbils - he is a true animal lover and always has their well being in mind. We feel very comfortable going out of town knowing that C will be caring for our kitties. We will continue to hire him, and absolutely recommend him to everyone!

C.M is such a life saver! They’re great with taking out my pup when I’m in a pinch, and they bonded rather quickly despite my pup being people-selective. Will definitely continue booking.
