Availability
My partner and I both work from home and are available throughout the day and evening. We have two pups of our own so pet care is a part of our daily routine. I am typically up early with my puppy around 5:30AM and we begin our day with a nice morning walk. After a morning feeding, on a nice day, we sit outside and the dogs play while I work on the garden or have my morning coffee. My pups are fully integrated into my day and I divide my tasks for the day around their walk, play, and nap schedule.

I seek to understand your pets needs, routine, and your needs (i.e. updates, pictures, etc.) to ensure you feel secure with your pets care. I believe when I am hired to help care for your pup, we build a partnership that requires communication, understanding, and deep empathy. From caring for senior dogs to the messy puppy phase, I have had a breadth of experience in caring for pups.

Ahead of time, I’d love to know your dog's typical daily routine so that I can keep things as consistent as possible. I need to know if they have any history of aggression or anything that might trigger them (squirrels, cars, people, etc.) so that I can ensure that is not around them or in their environment. I would also like to know if they have any special needs (medications, food or snack allergies, ailments, etc.).
A typical day
Depending on your dog and their needs, I love to go on walks and let dogs follow their natural instincts leading us on paths around the neighborhood. We have fun games including fetch and hide-a-treat to keep pups stimulated and their brains active. On hot days, I will put on the sprinkler for the pups though my dogs are not very interested in water.

I have been a human to many dogs for the past 14 years including volunteering as a foster for three local organizations. I believe animals are a part of our family and should be treated with care and respect. I have trained puppies, cared for elderly dogs, injured dogs, and foster dogs. I have a particular skill in helping dogs get comfortable and acclimating to a new environment. I’m experienced in administering medication to pups and supporting animals who have separation anxiety.
