I’ve raised and taken care of pets for as long as I can remember. I volunteered at a shelter initially in the puppy and cat rooms doing general care. Eventually I moved to a farm where I took care of the pets there while also managing farm animals. When I moved out I ended up getting a dog and cat of my own and training pups specifically in both obedience and service dog training. I have continued to do this as my dog is a service dog in training and my cat is trained as a comfort animal for young kids with anxiety.
