Pros: Bryce was able to accommodate both my dogs on pretty short notice. Affordable. When specific issues came up, he was responsive and kind. Cons: Taking care of entirely too many dogs at once. All of the dogs appeared to be crated for large amounts of time (despite a conversation at the beginning of the stay that my dog does not do well with crates). My dogs came home extremely anxious/agitated, and one was very thirsty (I believe she was not offered adequate access to water during her stay). He only sent one update during the stay, approx 2 hours before pick-up time. If you’re looking for your dog to be cared for as “one of the family,” this is not the sitter. But if you’re open to more of a full-time kennel situation, he fits reasonably well into that category. Unfortunately, that does not work for my pups so I won’t be using Bryce again.

This was a last-minute booking. Before drop-off, the sitter mentioned having one cat and three chihuahuas that were caged while he was at work. When I arrived, there was one cat, one small friendly dog, and three large dogs kept in cages. I left my cat with ample supplies, including dry food, wet food and treats, toys, two food bowls, a scratching post, a litter box with a full jug of litter, a water fountain, and additional bottled water. During the stay, I received one video and one photo showing my cat hiding behind the washer/dryer and in a closet. I was told that she hid most of the time. I picked her up a day early. When I arrived, she was in the front room, immediately ran to hide behind the washer/dryer, and the litter box appeared unused. The water fountain was barely functioning, there was no food visible, and the treat bag was unopened. After returning home, I noticed my cat was covered in a substance. Upon closer inspection, she was covered in liquid laundry detergent.

Bryce did a great job with Finn and shared many videos of how he was doing. He made sure he got a lot of exercise, love and attention. I will definitely use his services again.

Schedule

I am in the army, I am off weekends, so weekends they have my full undivided attention so no crates on weekends , I prefer to let the pets sleep outside of crates at night to show them comfort and that this is not just a daycare it is a safe haven for them, I do potty breaks usually every 2-3 hours cause I have 2 chihuahua that can’t hold pee to save they life . And while I’m at work I play classical music to keep there soul calm

Safety, trust & environment

If I'm caring for pets in my home, I create a calm, pet-friendly environment tailored to their needs. I ensure there's a safe space for rest, toys for stimulation, and designated areas for feeding, play, and potty breaks. I limit stress by gradually introducing pets to the space and sticking to any routines or special instructions provided. Whether in my home or yours, their comfort, health, and happiness are always my top priorities.
