I’ve cared for animals my entire life- from birds and fish as a child to dogs and cats throughout adulthood. Growing up, I raised an American Eskimo who needed regular grooming, exercise, and structure, which taught me responsibility and consistency at a young age. For the past 7 years, my partner and I have cared for our 12-year-old Cockapoo and three cats (now 5 and 4 years old, raised from kittens). Our dog is high-energy and high-maintenance - requiring daily walks, playtime, attention, and patience, so I’m very comfortable with active dogs as well as senior dogs who need extra care. Our cats require daily litter box cleaning, feeding routines, enrichment play, and attention. I’m very familiar with multi-pet households and understand how to balance different temperaments and needs. I take pet care seriously: consistency, safety, and communication with owners are my top priorities.

When caring for pets, I focus on three things: safety, routine, and emotional comfort. • I follow feeding and medication instructions carefully. • I make sure dogs get appropriate exercise based on their age and energy level. • I prioritize play and enrichment so pets aren’t just “checked on,” but genuinely engaged. • I maintain clean litter boxes, fresh water, and tidy feeding areas. • I always double-check doors, gates, and leashes for safety. I also understand that pets are family. I provide updates and photos so owners feel at ease while they’re away.

Schedule
I work full-time at a coffee shop with a flexible rotating schedule (early mornings and afternoon shifts), which allows me to offer dependable morning, midday, and evening visits depending on the week. I’m used to structuring my days responsibly and can communicate clearly about availability in advance. I’m especially available for: • Early morning walks • Midday drop-ins on certain days • Evenings • Weekend house sitting I keep my calendar updated and prioritize punctuality.
