Special Needs Pet Care & Walking
I've had dogs in my life for 30+ years, starting with the two family dogs I grew up with, and I've gained hands-on experience with dogs at every life stage. I've trained multiple puppies in basic obedience, house training, and socialization, and I've cared for senior dogs and dogs with serious health challenges including cancer recovery, broken legs, and mobility issues. I'm an active person — I swim at Alki Beach regularly and love long walks along the waterfront, so your dog gets real exercise and engagement, not just a quick loop around the block. High-energy dogs get genuine activity. Anxious dogs get calm, patient energy. Senior dogs get the gentleness they deserve. I treat every dog as an individual, and living in Alki means beach walks come with the deal. I'd love to meet you and your pup to see if we're a good fit.

Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
I treat every pet like my own, which means following your instructions exactly — feeding times, medication schedules, house rules, behavioral quirks. No exceptions. I'm observant and will notice changes in behavior, appetite, or energy, and I'll reach out to you immediately if something seems off. Leashes stay on until we're somewhere safe, doors and gates get double-checked, and your vet's contact info stays accessible at all times. Your home gets the same respect. I leave things cleaner than I found them, keep my presence minimal during overnight stays, lock up properly, and won't have anyone else over. You'll get photo updates so you never have to wonder if I showed up or how your pet is doing. I've had pets my entire life and I know the anxiety of leaving them with someone new. My goal is simple: you should be able to relax completely while you're away. I'd love to do a free meet-and-greet so you can see if we're the right fit — no pressure, no obligation.
Ratings and reviews
Bryce was absolutely amazing with our Dogs! It’s always a little unnerving going with a new house and dog sitter but Bryce was exceptional! The house was just as we left it! Daily updates on the dogs and pictures and more walks with him then they get with us! Lol! We hope that Bryce will be available for future stays! We cannot thank him enough! Roo and Wrigley already miss him!

Bryce did a great job bonding with my sometimes shy kitty Charley! He also helped my exceedingly shy foster kittens come out of hiding a little. Bryce sent regular updates with photos and everyone looked well cared for when I returned.

Bryce provided great care for both our pups while on vacation! He asked meaningful questions to know the care plan and adjusted his schedule to accommodate being with them. Would recommend and be booking with Bryce again!

Bryce was absolutely amazing with Finn and Teddy! Finn was having an allergy flare-up, and Bryce was great with managing his meds and his dietary restrictions. They went on tons of great walks and we came home to two tired and happy pups! Bryce also took great care of our house, and it was wonderful to come home to a clean and tidy house! We highly recommend Bryce as a dog sitter and will definitely be reaching out to him when we travel in future!

Bryce took care of our dog for a week while we were traveling for a vacation, and he treated our boy very well! He made sure he got fed at his normal times, and a daily walk. He even went the extra mile and made sure he'd check in with us with daily summaries and photos of how he was doing. Would highly recommend Bryce to anyone who wants peace of mind that their dog is being treated for whatever duration you need.
Bryce seemed great with Nova and I'm sure she enjoyed her walk. He communicated well and is reliable.

Calendar and availability
Schedule
I maintain a flexible schedule built around advance-planned weekday work (client meetings, site visits, project coordination), which opens up reliable windows for pet care: mornings before 9am, midday drop-ins from 11am-2pm, and evenings after 5pm. I'm also available for overnight stays and many weekends for longer sits or full-day care. I live in Alki and swim at the beach 2-3 times a week, so I'm already out and active — your dog gets genuine engagement on real walks, not a reluctant stroll from someone checking their phone. Once we book, your dates are locked in. I don't cancel or reschedule on clients.

- The more you tell me upfront, the better I can care for your pet. Before our first booking I'll want to know: The basics: Feeding schedule, amounts, and food type. Any medications — name, dosage, timing, and method. Your vet's name and contact info, plus an emergency contact for you. Health & medical history: Any current conditions, recent surgeries or illnesses, known allergies, and anything I should watch for that might signal a problem. Behavior & personality: How they interact with strangers, other animals, and kids. Any fears, triggers, or quirks (leash reactivity, separation anxiety, resource guarding, hiding spots). What calms them down if they get stressed. House rules & routine: Where they sleep, what's off-limits, any alarms or entry instructions, and where supplies are kept (leashes, medications, food, cleaning supplies). The small stuff that matters: Their favorite toy, how they like to be petted, what "I need to go out" looks like, or anything else you'd want a trusted friend to know before watching your pet. There are no wrong answers and no judgment — the more detail you share, the more at home your pet will feel while you're away.
