Availability

My work schedule is flexible and I work from home most days. On the days I go into the office, I am not gone for extended hours. I have plenty of time and availability for morning, mid-day, and evening pet care during the week. On weekends, morning play time is always extended, as is snuggle time, and longer walks if the weather allows - but we always spend a ton of time in the backyard, unless our guest prefers naptime on the couch.

Safety, trust & environment

I take pet care seriously, especially with other people's pets. I treat the animals with the same respect I treat my own, and how I would want someone else to take care of mine. I want the pets I care for to feel safe and happy, and barely miss their owners. That means I am very intentional about their physical as well their emotional needs. And, honestly, I get so much joy meeting new pets and hanging out with them that I want the pets to feel the same way about me. I will follow their normal schedule for feeding, walking, and anything else you ask as part of their routine. I am also very communicative while taking care of your pet(s)! I will check in with you everyday to provide at least a picture and any updates. I take a ton of photos, and love to share those! I am also always available for you to reach out anytime and respond quickly. When it comes to your home, you will not even know I was there, except your pets are happy and well-tended to :). For boarding requests, we have two very friendly small dogs and two dog-friendly cats, they all really do get along and we like to keep a calm and harmonious house! Our dogs will play if the our guest wants to, and our cats are very gracious hosts :). We only board one dog at a time. Please do not reach out if your dog is not (small) dog and cat friendly, thank you! (Our previous dog, RIP, is still listed here, she passed recently and I cannot bring myself to delete her profile yet...)

Information Bryanne S. would like to know about your pet

***ADVANCED BOOKINGS REQUIRED: I require booking requests at least two weeks in advance, preferably more for NEW clients, and always require a Meet & Greet.*** Please keep that in mind when submitting a booking request, and plan to make time ahead of your pet sitting dates. (Last-minute or same day requests are not available for new clients.) Some things I would like to get clear on before taking the charge of caring your pet are: the daily routine, their energy level, social behaviors, personality quirks, main likes and dislikes, how they are on a leash, and any important food or medical needs. I am NOT a good fit for: - Last-minute bookings, especially for new clients. - High energy or untrained dogs - For boarding, more than one dog at a time, and dogs larger than 60 pounds. Again, note that we have 2 (dog-friendly) cats and 2 (friendly) small dogs. Please do not reach out if your dog is not dog and cat friendly, thank you!

A typical day

I will engage with your dog(s) however you like. At home for boarding, our typical schedule is out to pee first thing in the morning, breakfast, and then a morning walk. During the day we'll rest, structured play, and have a short mid-day walk, then an evening walk and dinner with more play/training and snuggles (and treats). Cats, for house sitting, will also get tons of play time and attention, if that's what they want!

Pets

Pets are life's greatest gift!

Pet care experience

I have always made fast friends with other animals easily and joyfully. Pets really are the greatest gift and I only ever hope to live up to that by providing patience, fun, kindness, and thoughtful care-taking! I have had pets my entire life and have been pet sitting for over 20 years. I take pride in providing the best care possible, being fully present to an animal and their needs, and providing the peace of mind to you that I would want when away from my pets. With pets of my own, I know what it is like to find someone who you truly trust and feel comfortable with - I hope to be that person. I have a flexible hybrid telework schedule that allows me to be available for care-taking around your pets' schedule needs. I will have the utmost respect for your pet and instructions. As for house-sitting, my husband takes care of all our animals so that I can be fully present to stay with yours! I am open and honest and will be available for any more information you would like to know! Thanks for considering me to take care of your precious friends.

I cannot recommend Bryanne enough! She was so thoughtful, giving daily updates and sending photos. She took great care of my dog, especially during some scary (for her) moments like thunderstorms and fireworks. Her home and yard are so welcoming, my dog loved both. We will definitely be staying with Bryanne (and her sweet Sadie) again!
