Bryan works a hybrid schedule in tech so he is home most days and always nearby. Renee works nursing shifts and we coordinate our schedules to make sure your dog always has one of us present. We are available 7 days a week and someone is home the majority of every day. Dogs are never left alone for more than 2 hours, ever.

Our home in Hollister has a fully fenced private yard that is checked regularly to make sure it is secure. Dogs have their own comfortable space inside and are never crated unless that is specifically what their owner requests and what they are used to. We keep our home clean, calm and predictable so dogs can decompress and feel safe quickly. Renee's nursing background means we notice things other sitters might miss, like changes in appetite, energy, bathroom habits or behavior, and we communicate anything unusual to you right away. We follow every feeding schedule, medication routine and care instruction exactly as given. No improvising with your dog.

Please let us know your dog's daily routine, feeding schedule and any medications before arrival. We also love knowing their personality, what they are nervous about, what excites them and any commands they know and respond to. If your dog has any history of aggression, resource guarding or reactivity please be upfront with us so we can make sure everyone stays safe and comfortable. We have a senior Doberman mix named Maya who is calm and keeps to herself, so dogs who are dog-selective or prefer to be the only dog do just fine here. The more you tell us upfront the better experience your dog will have.
A typical day
Mornings start with a backyard stretch and potty break as soon as your pup wakes up. After that it is breakfast following whatever schedule you have set. Bryan works from home most mornings so your dog has company while they settle in. Midday we do a solid yard play session or a walk around the neighborhood depending on your dog's energy level. Afternoons are usually chill time, hanging out inside with us. We send photo updates throughout the day without you having to ask. Evenings include another yard run, dinner, and wind down time. Bedtime routine follows whatever your dog is used to at home. We want their day with us to feel as normal and comfortable as possible.

We are Bryan and Renee, a real couple who have been caring for dogs together for over 5 years. Renee is a nurse, so patience, calm under pressure, and paying close attention to every little detail is just how she is wired. Those same qualities pour right into how she cares for every dog we watch. Bryan works in tech on a hybrid schedule, which means someone is almost always home and your dog is never sitting alone wondering where everybody went. We have a fully fenced private yard here in Hollister where dogs can run, sniff around and just be themselves without a leash. We also have Maya, our Doberman mix senior girl who does her own thing and minds her business, so your pup gets to settle in without any overwhelming energy or drama from another dog. We are experienced with senior dogs, anxious dogs, dogs who take daily medication, and dogs who just need a little extra love and patience. We treat every dog like they belong here because while they are with us, they do.
