Pet care experience

*DISCLAIMER: All dogs must be crate trained to board with us - we only crate dogs for sleeping and feeding, otherwise they play outside all day!* VACCINATIONS AND TESTING: Upon boarding/daycare inquiry, we will ask for your pet's dated vaccination records. You may send us a copy via email to boarding*at*sitnstaysd*dot*com. A screenshot via Rover app also suffices. Required for dog guests: - DAPP/DHPP (booster every 3 years) - Rabies (booster every 3 years) - Bordetella (booster every 6 months) - Leptospirosis (booster every 1 year) - Canine Influenza (booster every 1 year) - Currently on flea/tick medication - Fecal exam to test for Giardia (must be done every 1 year) ABOUT US: Welcome to Sit N Stay! We are a husband and wife team that operates a doggie daycare and overnight boarding facility out of our home in San Diego. Although we work out of our home, we are proud to hold a city business license as well as kennel insurance. We are located near Friars Rd. and the 15 freeway intersection, in the hills of the Serra Mesa community. MISSION: Our guests' comfort, joy, and safety are our highest priorities. All guests and their owners are treated with respect, and love, and are always sent home with a wagging tail and a smile. MEET AND GREETS: We require one in-person meet and greet at our home prior to booking. It allows both parties to assess the dog-to-dog relationship, and the host environment, and ask questions, ensuring you feel comfortable with us and your dog does too! NEW CLIENT FORM: Once the booking is completed, we will ask that you complete an online boarding intake form for our records. This one-time-only form ensures we have all pertinent information on your dog while they're in our care and for future stays. Complete the form by going to *form dot jotform dot com /sitnstaysd/boarding-daycare-intake-form*. We look forward to meeting you and your pup(s)! PICKUP/DROP-OFF POLICY & LATE FEES: We accept drop-offs between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm. However, dogs MUST be picked up by 2:00 pm on the day of leave. Any dog picked up between 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm will incur an additional daycare fee. If you are unable to pick up your dog by 7:00 pm, you will be asked to pick them up the following day and instead of an additional daycare fee, you will be charged for an extra night of boarding (refer to our rates section). While we know that “life happens” and you occasionally may be unable to pick up your pup on time, we ask our clients to consider that not only do we have many other pickups and drop-offs to coordinate each day, but this is also our home and our personal life is impacted. We appreciate your understanding. Please reach out via text or call us to coordinate pickup and drop-off for your pup’s stay. SAFE ENVIRONMENT: We have a very large, shaded backyard, dedicated ONLY to dog play and relaxation. We routinely spray the area for fleas and ticks during the summer months. The fully fenced area has plenty of space for running, jumping, wrestling, or simply napping. We also have a cool running water source for drinking and a dog house for those who prefer to curl up and rest. In the summer, we put up our large canopy and bring out our inflatable dog-wading pool for the pups to cool off! Our yard is simply a dog paradise! SMALLER GUESTS: For smaller dogs, we are able to keep them indoors and supervised, as one of us is always home. Small dogs also have the added luxury of a dedicated smaller, fenced-in, front yard for light recreation and potty breaks. This secondary, smaller yard, allows us to keep large and small dogs separated during their stays, so everyone is safe but equally accommodated. FEEDING AND SLEEPING: All dogs must be crate trained. We only use crates for feedings and sleeping at night. Sorry, no exceptions. It is the only way to ensure the safety of your pet overnight in our home.

Bryan and Christina took very good care of our golden retriever puppy. We went out of town for a week and needed reliable, safe care and were happy to find them! Will use again for out of town travels.

Buck spent 2.5 weeks with Nina and Bryan and had a lot of fun as always. He has been staying here for the past 2 years and takes some stress away knowing that he is in good hands. Nina is always attentive and updates me through the trip. Thanks!

Really great experience working with these two. I was really nervous about leaving my dog for the day but they were very inviting and made me feel like I made a good decision. The thing I really enjoyed is how professional they were with the daycare process including required vaccinations and other ways to keep dogs happy and healthy. We will definitely be using again. Thank you so much for making sure my fur baby had a good day today.
