From a very young age, I have been deeply passionate about cats. Growing up, my family always had several feline friends around, but my journey into cat rescue began in earnest in 2013, inspired by the incredible work of various NGOs in my country. I vividly remember one particular rescue mission, where I climbed over the wall of an abandoned house to save a litter of kittens. This moment marked the beginning of my hands-on experience with cat rescue and care. Over the years, I've rescued several cats from the streets. I’ve taken on the full spectrum of their care, including providing baths, administering medications, ensuring they receive necessary vaccinations, and arranging for their neutering. My efforts didn't stop there—I also found loving homes for all the cats I rescued, although a few special ones ended up becoming permanent members of my family. Among my rescues, Bruce and Pipa hold a special place in my heart. Bruce, a seven-year-old black and white tuxedo, now lives with my mother in Brazil. Pipa, who lived to the venerable age of sixteen, was a feisty, solitary cat who taught me a lot about the patience and understanding required to care for older, more temperamental felines. My hands-on experience extends to dealing with feral and semi-feral cats, where patience and gentle handling are crucial. I am adept at administering medication, handling routine veterinary visits, and providing a nurturing environment for both kittens and older cats. Since moving to the Netherlands, Bruce has been living happily with my mother in the countryside, and Pipa remains a cherished memory, but my passion for cats remains strong. I understand the deep bond between cats and their owners, and I am committed to providing the best possible care for your feline friends while you are away. Whether it’s a playful kitten or a senior cat with specific needs, you can trust that I will treat them with the same love and dedication I have always shown to my own pets.
