I am a dog lover who watches several neighbors' dogs, some in their homes and some in my home - usually when they are out of town or when they are remodeling their homes etc.. Many of these families have known me for 35 - 40 years. They can all provide references for me. ( Some have known me since I was a young teenager and now I'm an old 60 year old !! ) My motto is that "We Take The Boredom Out Of Boarding". I usually walk each dog several times and play with them throughout the day until they are tired. Never a dull moment. I am not bragging - but some of these "references" will tell you that when they bring their dog to me, it jumps out of the car and runs to my front door happily and that when they used to take them to a regular kennel, their dogs would not be happy ( like many dogs act when they go to the vet. ). I have several bedrooms (5) and during the periods I'm out jogging or gone to the grocery store, I like to separate the dogs usually in kennel/crates or each in a bedroom etc.. It is for their safety. The good thing is, the bedrooms have old carpet that needs replaced, so if any dogs have an accident or chew - it will not hurt the flooring ! No matter how good all of our dogs are, there is always one troublemaker in the crowd, that's why I separate them. Better safe than sorry. The day usually starts with breakfast (half of their day's feeding) and a walk around 8:00 a.m. - another walk around 1:00 p.m. - another walk around 4:30 p.m. - dinner at 6:00 p.m. (the rest of their daily feeding) and another walk at 7:00 p.m. - and a short outing before bed around 11:00 p.m.
