Wow!! Cannot recommend enough! Brooks was excellent! I was pretty nervous bc I have never used Rover before- only ever had friends watch my dog. Immediately he was so attuned to her body language and pacing when he met her, super engaged in play with her, asked very great questions about her routine and the house. He cares a lot and puts a lot of intention into giving the right care! I came back to a happy pup! Communication, updates and care for her while I was gone was impeccable! Truly truly recommend Brooks as a sitter and will hire him again if need be and available !

I've never written a negative review of a sitter or walker in my decades of dog ownership but felt compelled to do so given our experience with Brooks. Within minutes of arriving while I was navigating the airport he didn't even comment on how our dogs were when he got there but complained that my car was parked in our garage in a spot that he wanted (somehow he couldn't use the 3 car driveway??) and that he couldn't connect to our speakers to play his music and then he promptly disconnected our external front doorbell camera for the remainder of the stay. When prompted to actually given an update on our dogs over the next few days he said they were "great" then 4 days in mentioned that one of them was barking for hours every night which has never happened before with prior sitters. Then when I gave him some easy fixes for that, the next day he complained to me that the dogs had woken him up at their usual time as clearly communicated to him prior to the sit and "he only got 5 hours of sleep"...when apparently he went to bed at 1am. And that's not even all of it but between that and other issues we cut our trip short and came home early to find that he'd gone into blocked off areas of our home, moved around our computer equipment as he was paranoid about cameras (unconnected very standard ones at clear workstations, not hidden, for you know work Zooms that many people do now, in rooms he wasn't even supposed to be in...) and then I go to make dinner and find that he's helped himself to our food from both our fridge and freezer! I'm sure I'll be finding more surprises over the coming days but the short version is unless you want an entitled bad houseguest instead of an actual dog sitter I'd stay clear.

Brooks was absolutely wonderful. He was communicative and took great care of our dog, Milton. He took great care of our home and left it immaculate. Would strongly recommend.

Brooks was great at house sitting for our large Akita and cat while we went away for a week. He interviewed really well, asking very good questions about each pet. He took our dog on great walks. He left the place totally clean —even washing the bedding even though we didn’t ask him to. He was great.

First time using Brooks & the dogs loved it. Thank you so much for the great walks.

This is the second time Brooks has stayed at my home with my dogs. He's great with them and very good at keeping me up to date on how they are doing. I would definitely recommend Brooks for house and dog sitting!
