Your Dog’s Second Best Friend

I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities for years, and I truly treat every pet like family. What sets me apart is that I understand how important it is to pay attention to a dog’s individual needs and medical concerns. I have a French Bulldog who went through IVDD, so I take mobility and health issues very seriously and know how to create a safe environment for dogs that may need extra care. I’m best with friendly, family-oriented dogs, and when pets stay with me, they’ll get lots of attention, love, and supervision. I’m home most of the time, so your dog won’t be left alone for long and will have someone there to care for them throughout the day.

Hi! Brooklyn has been my bestfriend since middle school- she is easy one the of the nicest, friendliest, and dependable person I know. Always caring and putting others first. Very nurturing- and mother like. We both love scheduling play dates with our dogs. I love my fur babies so much, and I would trust Brooklyn completely to take care of them if I needed someone to. I wouldn’t hesitate to have her watch over any pets - she loves them all.

Schedule

I’m currently in school full-time at MATC in the Invasive Cardiovascular Technology program while also working part-time at Aurora Health Care. Because of my schedule, I keep my availability updated on my calendar so pet parents always know when I’m available! I genuinely love spending time with animals and make sure every pet gets lots of attention, playtime, walks, and care while you’re away.

Safety, trust & environment

treat every pet like part of the family and always prioritize their safety and comfort. I have a crate available if needed, and because I own a French Bulldog with IVDD history, I also have ramps throughout my home for dogs that are at higher risk for spinal injuries. If your dog is food aggressive, I can pick up bowls after meals and separate pets during feeding times. I also pay close attention to every note and instruction you leave for me so your pet’s routine stays consistent. For dogs that are sensitive to noise or easily overstimulated, I can put toys away, create a calm environment, and even play soft classical music to help them relax or sleep comfortably.

Pets

A typical day

A typical day with me includes potty breaks about every 2 hours, lots of playtime, and plenty of attention! We live right next to the lake, so your dog will get amazing walks with lots of new smells and scenery to explore. I also have my own friendly French Bulldog, so if your dog enjoys other dogs, they’ll have a built-in buddy to play with throughout the day and will probably head home nice and tired! I keep toys around for enrichment and love giving pets lots of cuddles, belly rubs, and attention, I’ll probably spend half the day telling them how cute they are.

Please let me know about any special needs, medical conditions, routines, triggers, or behaviors your pet may have so I can give them the best care possible. I’m comfortable with puppies, senior dogs, and dogs that may need a little extra patience or attention. If your dog has food aggression, separation anxiety, or any mobility concerns like IVDD or arthritis, just let me know ahead of time so I can make accommodations. I also appreciate knowing their favorite toys, treats, sleeping habits, and anything that helps them feel most comfortable while you’re away!
