Brooke looked after our 5 years old mix breed Laika for 4 nights and we could not have been happier. Brooke clearly loves dog and treated ours as her own. We really appreciated the photo updates while we were away. She enjoyed lying outside on the deck, cuddling on the couch, and playing tug. Brooke also gave Laika her medication twice daily. We will definitely book again.
Brooke was wonderful, through and through. She made sure that Penny was cared for as if she was her own dog, and she was very attentive to Penny’s particular diet. Penny had a great time with Brooke, and I look forward to boarding her again. Highly recommended!

Schedule
Your dog will have 3-4 hours in the afternoon alone on weekdays. There may be a day here and there that they need to be alone for 8 hours, but that is rare. If your dog needs to be crated when alone, please bring a crate. I try to be home as much as possible when I have a dog so I can give them lots of attention and love!

Safety, trust & environment
Your dog will always be on a leash when outside for walks/breaks. I can crate your dog if that is what he/she is used to. I will follow instructions exactly regarding walks, potty breaks, feeding instructions, medication, etc.
A typical day
I will play with your dog (fetch, tug, etc) and will also take your dog on nature walks. There are lots of pretty hiking trails in my area. I always say that it is the dog’s walk, so I allow them to stop and explore smells whenever they want (as long as it is safe for them). I will cuddle them if they are the cuddly type, and they are allowed on the furniture and can explore the house as they wish.
